Seems common sense to me ,holland has done this for years.
Hitchens outdated views will fade away with him... He wants even occasional users to have the full force of the law thrown at them, ruining their lives. Put simply, hes a fanatic on this issue. Must have whiteyed as a student and now he bears a grudge.
We don't care about what he smokes and what he doesn't, one thing is for sure: if alcohol with all its high costs for society is decriminalized, ganja should have been decriminalized too, both with restrictions protecting the vulnerable, period.
Peter Hitchens is correct, unfortunately he probably won’t be listened to by the usual suspects who are invariably wrong on most things

Well, it is in that the lower orders ( disproportionately coloured) seem to smoke it in place of doing some work
how many MPs smoke weed again? I don't recognise the scene they are setting when they say MPs as a whole are compromised by their use of weed
Suppose he wants it for himself? How selfish & foolish. But it also confirms what was suspected about certain minorities. Illegal then.
