What people care about is their day-to-day interactions with the justice system: efficient, fully functioning courts, effective and humane prisons, a healthy legal aid system. These should be the priorities of the MoJ, not legislative changes to the human rights regime.

Whether you’re in Court Sir Bob or in the Commons, I think you’re right on this one. I suspect many crime lawyers are burnt out or on the verge of it. I cannot see how the current MOJ stance will address Bellamy’s concerns given financial injection has been wiped out by inflation

Problem remains Bob, already far too late for Endless innocent Falsely imprisoned victims. UK continues to drown in a Sunami of Corruption with zero interest from UK governments for decades. I know, I continue to be such a person with first hand experience.
