Universities teach many erroneous models. One example of a misleading teaching is the Newtonian model of the prism. A man named Johann Goethe corrected and complimented Newton's model about 100 years after Newton. It is not the same light passing through the prism and distributing. It is a brand-new light with each beam of color. The primary light hitting the prism is extinguished by the electrons making up the glass of the prism itself. Those same electrons re-emit a brand new light from each angle. That process happens at the rate of c. The surprise was that very bright red light could fail, while dim blue or ultraviolet light worked immediately. Einstein explained this in 1905 by proposing that light comes in energy packets, and only packets with enough energy can knock electrons free. That was the Photoelectric Effect, and it helped earn him the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Fritz-Albert Popp was a German biophysicist and one of the godfathers of biophoton research. Dr. Popp published 8 books and over 150 scientific articles spanning theoretical physics, biophotonics, and medicine. For me, the sight of Polish inscriptions on control panels and nameplates in Polish on machines of this type is the reason why I have tears in my eyes. Beautiful film and beautiful devices from the time when we had a developed industry in Poland. Politics has fucked up everything.
