What was your first experience with Ghost in the Shell

95 film. It's been a treat to see different takes from the movies to the tv shows. The music by Kenji Kawai and Yoko Kanno were unforgettable. Now its a nightmare because the fans dont know how to behave. and they're fucking stupid comparing everything.

The original manga since I had gotten into Shirow’s Appleseed manga.

@EyeLuvBrandon The 1997 video game for PlayStation. At the time I did not know it was either a Manga or an Anime.

These, at Hastings Books and Records in Abilene, TX

SAC was my introduction to GITs and since there I have fallen in love with it over and over again in just about every adaptation. I think the live action is the only one that really missed for me, and that is only because the quality of the writing was lack luster by proxy.

Please don't include that 2017 Hollywood piece of crap.

3am on the cartoon network. I would wake up to the theme song for Stand alone complex. Inner universe its called. Like waking up to an angel singing so I had to watch.. then I watched all of them a bunch of times

95 and for me its the best. I like the muted and matte colors instead of the flashy, colorful stuff of these days.

1995 movie, since then i’ve watched and loved everything they have released.

Toonami era GitS was my first but Science Saru has me locked in and I love the 1st ep it was insane this is going to be a blast...😮‍💨🎬🔥💯

Innocence, watched late at night on a plane with no previous knowledge of the series. Weird way to get into the rest of the franchise.

The 1995 movie, which i first watched a few months ago

I dtarted with the first season S.A.S then saw the original movie and loved them both. ARISE was fine and The 2026 versions is great on its own too!

Why do you have to choose? Love them all !

GitS 2045 is absolute trash.

1995 🔥

Never heard of the 2020 show

the Stand Alone Complex series is sooo good. aged well too

Great experience

Wamdue Project - King of My Castle

The original manga Also a fan of the original Appleseed manga The 1995 movie is the best for Anime, the rest look more and more terrible the more it's redone as all remakes do And no Tourist will convince me otherwise that the newest isn't the worst no mater how Manga faithful

...loved the 95 anime, dissapointed by the manga, SAC 👍 Btw. only anime I prefer dubbed. 😮

Not this 2026 bs

Ghost in the shell is an amazing anime a must watch

The manga.

Le film de 1995. Ensuite le manga GitS (et le manga de Appleseed), puis Man-Machine Interface, SAC 1 et 2, Innocence, film américain, etc. Mais je n'ai pas regardé Arise et la série en 3D.

now

The major is cool in every version

95->Manga->SAC Didn’t watch Arise or 2045 but watching this new one.

Ghost in the Shell 95 was my entry into anime at 11 years old. Changed my life.

1995

Tengo ganas de ver la nueva serie. Y me gustaría volver a ver la serie de 2020. O mejor aún, tenerlas en DVD o Blueray.
