I worked retail for many years. Often customers will remove a price then try to buy it at that altered price. It's quite possible a customer removed the additional number.

this is like making the "haha it isn't scanning it must be free" joke but actually taking it seriously.

You see how it’s missing the dollar sign as well? Clearly missing numbers. doubt online shows a 97$ sale in this economy

That's not an advertised price. There is no $ symbol. The other grills have a $ sign and 3 number digits. That could easily be a claimed skew number, units sold, or number in staffs favorites. She's trying to twist this into a petty technical loss on the store. I would trespass her for being a turd human, and tell her to call her lawyer. Mine are on retainer, and they'll ignore you until you run out of money, and your lawyer stops answering your calls. Should last about 30 minutes, tops.

@IndianaGPA I work retail at a family owned business-this person would have left a shitty google review and called corporate and would have mothereffed me to my face at the store if I didn’t sell this to her for that price. Jokes on her tho b/c customer is rarely right. 😎

@LynneA294 Same as clickbait

@LynneA294 It is false!

@LynneA294 In this situation you can’t get it at that price.

You a bad lawyer. The advertised price the customer could had got a steal. I remember a movie came out $25 bucks or so but advertised it for $9 i jumped on it and purchased it at the price & had to honor it. Mistake was fixed after i paid. Thanks

His answer is wrong. They have to honor the price. She stated an employee saw it and did nothing about it. That grill would be coming home with me at that price.
