Maybe I heard you wrong, but Jersey Mikes telling me my gift card is invalid does mean it’s not still a good card! Maybe not activated, maybe Jersey Mikes payment system does not recognize it, etc. Don’t assign any blame unless you know it’s truly worthless! Just sayin… 😭😭😭

Tell her because Gift Cards are one of the easiest scams it’s ashamed that people are so dishonest honesty.

I would tell her right away. When I get purchase a gift card, there is a small receipt tgat shows it's activated. This is done by check-out. Perhaps, it wasn't activated. If it was, she should dispute the charge on her credit card bill and let the bank do the investigation.
