When a cameras output is fed into itself as input a phenomenon known as Recursive Feedback occurs, projecting an infinite fractal of itself. This is what happens to us when we take psychedelics or enter deep states of inward observation. There is a universal secret here ♾

From the fundamental laws, to consciousness, to the material world— all are built upon a fractal code. To conserve computational energy, programming a universe on a fractal architecture would be the most ideal solution. In this regard a lower dimensional algorithm can be scaled infinitely, appearing differently at dimensional magnitudes while still remaining fundamentally the same.

It’s what happens to the universe/reality/itself when it’s not limited by anything outside itself, which is never absolutely speaking, but it is fundamentally unlimited and so can metaphysically “imagine” itself limiting, or reentering, itself toroidally. But this is happening in ♾️/0/1 dimension(s) lol. 🕉️😇

Recursive feedback is my new favorite term thank you

The analog versions of this is crazier (see old Doctor Who title sequence). The digital version here is more of an interesting kaleidoscope effect, but check out how organic old analog is:

I used to operate a satellite truck for a TV station. We were testing different compression algorithms for a digital video signal by looping a static video still up and back to the satellite. The still would begin to distort after a few seconds, then rapidly degrade beyond recognition. The camera loop with a video monitor is an old one we had fun with back in the early '80s. The old timers were doing it in the studio back in the '50s.

Some ITC practitioners work with the same principle of a video feedback loop

This effect but on 360° video - they go through the screen (mathmatically anyway) 🤯

if you line them up perfectly, you get recursive "infinite" noise amplification, it's been used to observe "ghosts" - fun to mess around with anyway. Have you seen this done with a 360 camera..🤯 I'll try find it I think you'll like it.

we are a strange loop
