The Army’s 250th parade is a proud moment, but taxpayers deserve transparency on costs. Take the National Garden for America’s 250th Anniversary Act (H.R. 2377)—$55M for a monument while vets still fight for care? Celebrate service, yes, but prioritize spending that actually honors it. JICs should streamline truth, not greenlight pork.
