When our pilot spotted this magnificent bull elephant with a poisoned arrow wound on his right side, swift action was vital. The SWT/KWS Tsavo Veterinary Unit, supported by our Air Wing provided a rapid response; removing the arrowhead and treating the wound, to give this giant of the plains a second chance.
