We continue to mourn Pope Francis: My planned trip to Rome coincided his passing to Heaven. He leaves us a legacy of practical Mercy and Empathy with the forgotten. Today I had the honour and privilege to pray next to his body on behalf of many. I tried the best to represent all of us in Kenya, and express the desire of many hearts to pray next to his body for him. I hope to concelebrate in the Funeral Mass on Saturday. May God reward Pope Francis with eternal happiness. RIP Papa Francis.

A war has started in Israel that we pray comes to a miraculous and quick resolve. God calls us to specifically pray for the peace of Jerusalem in Psalm 122, but God doesn't embrace one and reject the other—the Gospel is for everyone. Right now, we're praying for a miracle, for God to release His presence into the nation of Israel, and for encounters for both the Israeli people and for Hamas—that all would come to know Him and that fighting would cease. We need the pronounced manifestation of the heart of God over the nations and people involved. Pray for our leaders making big decisions and for all my brothers and sisters who wear the uniform that God will give us the courage and faith to serve as we are called upon. In a recent interview with Jim Daly, Ben Sasse answered several challenging questions about how to respond to suffering with both Christian faith and hope: "I don't want to be aggressive with the intellectualist rationalist side, but God tells us in Scripture everything we need to know for faith and life, but He doesn't tell us everything we want to know or everything that we ultimately will know. And He is God. And to whom else would we go? So, I trust Him because He is who He is, and He has been faithful. And so, I won't get every answer this side of eternity... Death is an enemy. Death is wicked. But it's the final enemy. It's our last battle. And after that, there will be no more tears. And so, we will have these answers, and we will know that God used it for His good." Scripture says we can’t add a single hour to our life by worrying. Worrying does NOTHING to help the situation- but we still do it because our flesh needs to feel in control. Teach yourself to deny your flesh. Recite scripture or pray in those moments and give it ALL to God. Lay EVERYTHING down at His feet and let go of it. Trust God to actually be God!

There is zero secret about the fact that I'm ultra bullish on crypto. Anything can happen, but the opportunity seems so clear to me. It really excites me. However, I want to pause and take a moment to reflect on something. Crypto is not certain. But here are some things that are certain... Jesus Christ stepped down from Heaven to die for our sins because He loves us. He took our place so that we may have a path to everlasting life to spend eternity with Him. Believing in Christ is what is important. Having a relationship with him is important. It is everything. Only God knows what the future holds. May His will be done. "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

The way we save this nation isn’t just through ballots, it’s through bowed heads. As I’ve traveled across Texas, I’ve seen something powerful. Even in uncertain times, there are still believers. Still patriots. Still men and women ready to stand up for what’s right, even when common sense isn’t so common anymore. So pray for our nation. Pray for Texas. Pray for our President.
