“keep raising your hand” it reminds me of why i admire jay so much. he’s so determined and vocal in pursuing what he wants. like back in i-land, he never stopped raising his hand for every part at that time, just to get the parts he wanted, even when he kept getting rejected by everyone :( he really inspires me even now… i feel so proud of him. it must have been very difficult that day, but he did it. i know he'll do anything for his dream 🥹

I’m not necessarily surprised when it comes to some of the things that he’s done with the organization because I’m pretty sure he already had that in his back pocket when he got hired. I’m just sitting back & watching from afar…I’ve yet to get the chance to sit down & talk with him, but he made sure he called me & we had a good conversation on the phone.”

behind of yeonjun taking off his shirt during his performance today 🦊 i didn’t plan on doing it 🧸 ah really? 🦊 i really didn’t have any plans of doing it until the rehearsals 🐿️ was it too hot? 🦊 why i did it was…before going on stage, the staff said “yeonjun, today is the last day so do everything and do whatever you want” so the sadness and frustration i had at the end of ‘no labels: part 01’ suddenly exploded from within me 🦊 so i was like “yeah, i’m going to vent my spite today” and decided to take it off right before the performance 🐿️ what an artist 🐧🐿️ the staff must’ve been like “do everything you want to do” and then been like “🤦 he really did everything he wanted to do…” 🦊 so that’s what happened…because i had a lot of pent up frustration against the company 🐿️ that can happen, you really worked very hard while preparing for it 🦊 i did…so that’s the story.

When you hear the advice "hire the best," this is what that looks like: "We had a candidate who came and interviewed. He was a junior at MIT and very very young. We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. So we said to him, what do you think about taking some time off of school and working with us and building out Devin? And he thought about it for a while, and he came back, and he said I'm down, I want to do it, but my parents really want me to graduate from school, and I'm just not sure there's a way to make it work. So we talked with him more to fully understand the situation, and then we flew to North Carolina, went straight from the airport to his parents' house, had dinner with him and his parents, and tried to understand, all right, what would it take to make this work? They said it sounds like a great opportunity, but we really want our son to be able to graduate. So we figured out a setup where he could work for us essentially full time, but then come in for his required classes, and do what he needed to do to get the diploma.
