“keep raising your hand” it reminds me of why i admire jay so much. he’s so determined and vocal in pursuing what he wants. like back in i-land, he never stopped raising his hand for every part at that time, just to get the parts he wanted, even when he kept getting rejected by everyone :( he really inspires me even now… i feel so proud of him. it must have been very difficult that day, but he did it. i know he'll do anything for his dream 🥹

behind of yeonjun taking off his shirt during his performance today 🦊 i didn’t plan on doing it 🧸 ah really? 🦊 i really didn’t have any plans of doing it until the rehearsals 🐿️ was it too hot? 🦊 why i did it was…before going on stage, the staff said “yeonjun, today is the last day so do everything and do whatever you want” so the sadness and frustration i had at the end of ‘no labels: part 01’ suddenly exploded from within me 🦊 so i was like “yeah, i’m going to vent my spite today” and decided to take it off right before the performance 🐿️ what an artist 🐧🐿️ the staff must’ve been like “do everything you want to do” and then been like “🤦 he really did everything he wanted to do…” 🦊 so that’s what happened…because i had a lot of pent up frustration against the company 🐿️ that can happen, you really worked very hard while preparing for it 🦊 i did…so that’s the story.

We gave him our interview and he did way better than almost any of the full-time candidates that we had ever talked to. So we said to him, what do you think about taking some time off of school and working with us and building out Devin? And he thought about it for a while, and he came back, and he said I'm down, I want to do it, but my parents really want me to graduate from school, and I'm just not sure there's a way to make it work. So we talked with him more to fully understand the situation, and then we flew to North Carolina, went straight from the airport to his parents' house, had dinner with him and his parents, and tried to understand, all right, what would it take to make this work? They said it sounds like a great opportunity, but we really want our son to be able to graduate. So we figured out a setup where he could work for us essentially full time, but then come in for his required classes, and do what he needed to do to get the diploma. #SEONGHWA about meeting DPRIAN 😭🩶 ⭐️: Yesterday, I finally had time in my schedule.. actually, more than my schedule permitting it, hyungnim had time in his and he also happened to be in LA, so I went to see him. He said he wanted to show me around his studio and somehow everything just lined up… so I became a successful fan! Yesterday was actually the first time I got to meet him and he greeted me really warmly ㅎㅎ When I arrived to the practice room he was blowing bubbles, like this, to welcome me. So it was very ㅎㅎ very fun and heartwarming. He gave me a tour of the studio and ordered pizza for us to share. While we were eating, I asked him a lot of questions about things I was curious about, like music video behind stories and details about songs of his I love. You know the way we interpret a song differs depending on the listener, but I wanted to hear directly from him what kind of feeling he had when creating those songs. I wanted to hear the real stories from the person who made them, so I asked a lot of those kinds of questions. And it was really fascinating because what I had in mind was actually very similar to what hyungnim had intended. So that was very fascinating. He also told me so many kind and encouraging things… it really motivated me a lot, especially in what I’m doing now. So, ever since I came to the U.S. I was hoping I could meet him and get his autograph. I went all over the place trying to find a CD… but wow, everything was sold out! So eventually I was like, “Ah, it can’t be helped, I’ll just go without one.” I really like keeping physical albums from artists. For books too, e-books are great too, but there’s something special about being able to touch and feel a real book or album, you know? But then, just as we were saying goodbye, hyungnim said he had something for me and handed me the album himself. And then he said that he had left the message section empty on purpose because he was like “I wanted to write something after actually meeting you Seonghwa-ssi and seeing how I felt”. So just before I left, he wrote it down and the words were so beautiful. That really stayed with me. I too, when meeting others, used to write the messages in advance and bring them along, but now I feel like… if I ever get the chance again, I’d also like to write something based on my impression after the meeting and give it to them. There’s something really romantic about that. Also, watching him work (know about his artistic process) up close.. wow, it was just… really, really cool. So yeah I had such a happy, unforgettable time. He said he watched a lot of our performances too, and when he talked about the ones he’s seen, it made me so happy. On stage, he come across as super sexy, right? But when he was speaking, he was so humble and just kind… he just genuinely felt like a hyung. He was incredibly sweet and.. ah, am I like that too? ㅎㅎ I really had a good time. What stage he liked best? He said he’s seen my solo stage. I’m not sure if it was from Towards The Light or this current one (Skin), but he said it was really great to see how deeply I immersed myself in the concept. He also mentioned watching our Coachella stage, and he really enjoyed the sword-drawing part too. He shared a lot of really kind and encouraging words. To be honest, I had worried that my visit might feel like a burden or a hassle for him, but it was the opposite. He was so warm and welcoming, and apparently he was actually really curious about me too and really wanted to talk to me. So it ended up being a truly wonderful day. I came back full of inspiration. Of course, our biggest motivation is always ATINY but this became a new kind of motivation for me, a new inspiration.
