DANGOTE REFINERY TARGETS SEPTEMBER IPO LAUNCH President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, says the Dangote Refinery is targeting a September launch for its Initial Public Offering, IPO, following what he described as overwhelming investor demand running into billions of dollars. Dangote disclosed this during a visit by the management of First Bank to the refinery complex in Lagos, where discussions centred on investment opportunities and the future growth of the refinery business. Arise News Correspondent Oluwatosin Balogun filed in this report.

It's incomplete, only 45% built, 3. Dangote wants NNPC to give him monopoly on petroleum products in the country. 4. Dangote's product are not authentic. Dangote in turn said; his products are better than any product they (NNPC) import. And if they want they should test the diesels across the country and test his own to confirm the qualities. Q: Why is there always a discrepancy in the monthly fuel production data released by NMDPRA and that from the Dangote Refinery? Dangote: The regulator, Farouk, is very smart. What he is doing is only telling Nigerians what was being taken out of the refinery. What has been taken out of the refinery is totally different from what has been produced. When we got tired of all this misleading information, we wrote him a letter telling him to come every day to check our stock and publish what we produce and what we have in stock.

Government does not PRODUCE crude Oil, International Oil Companies (IOCs) are responsible for that. Govt cannot just wake up and say divert the crude oil to Dangote Refinery.... There's are contracts already signed for years before Dangote Refinery came up.... A lot to learn, unlearn and relearn about Oil and Gas industry as well as other aspects generally....

I Don't See the Significant Impact Dangote Refinery Will Have on Petrol Price - Oluwafemi As much as Dangote Refinery has been met with so much positivity regarding supply, it's sad that NNPCL who use to run four refinaries in Nigeria, is queuing to lift PMS from a private Refinery.
