At least West served his sentence! In 2021 Roy Cooper released: 34 people CONVICTED of RAPE, 51 CONVICTED of indecent liberties with a CHILD, 5 CONVICTED of a sexual offense by a substitute parent or custodian. Cooper put them ahead of our family's safety,NOT finishing sentences!

As governor, you created the Task Force for Racial Equity in Criminal Justice, which explicitly included “justice-involved individuals” among its stakeholders and produced recommendations for changes to North Carolina’s criminal-justice system. And you agreed in 2021 to the early reentry of roughly 3,500 people from state custody. An independent review found that most were already nearing their release dates, but the group also included people convicted of serious offenses, including murder, rape and armed robbery. North Carolina deserves better than you. It’s time you retire after 40 yrs of nothing but heartache. Vote @WhatleyNC !
