This happens everyday on Guard frequency! All pilots are suppose to monitor 121.5 (Guard Frequency) on every flight. 121.5 provides a common frequency that can utilized in the event of an emergency. Some pilots think it’s funny to “meow” on 121.5 in an effort to draw out other pilots who tell them to stop ( Guard dogs).
