Despite innumerable attacks on migrant workers across Tamil Nadu, DMK’s ministers and MPs appear to have learnt absolutely nothing, except how to normalise their hate against migrant workers. DMK MP Smt Kanimozhi Somu claims that 10,000 migrant workers educated in Hindi arrive in Tamil Nadu every day to sell “Ganja” and Pani Puri. Speaking before her on the same stage, DMK Minister Thiru T. M. Anbarasan echoed the very same narrative. This is not a slip of the tongue or an isolated remark; it is a pattern. Such targeted, demeaning rhetoric against migrant workers has become routine under this corrupt DMK regime. Here is a poor woman who has bravely filed a police complaint after being sexually assaulted by Thiruvakarai Baskaran, a DMK functionary who not only violated her dignity but also recorded the assault and is now threatening her using that video. Our mothers & sisters do not feel safe under this DMK govt. Tamil Nadu deserves justice, safety, and a government that stands with its people, not with its criminals.

Those in DMK are involved in all sorts of unlawful activity, from international drug smuggling to selling liquor illegally. A responsible citizen in Nammakal district in TN was brutally attacked for complaining to the police department about the sale of illegal liquor. The attack, reportedly ordered by Pallipalayam DMK Chairman Selvaraj, is a stark reminder of the injustice that has become all too common in TN. Over the past 4 years, the DMK has transformed our once peaceful state into a lawless jungle. However, staying far from reality, TN CM Thiru M.K.Stalin will be writing an appreciation letter to himself about how the people of TN praise his good governance.

Alliance MP Thiru Thirumavalavan has now travelled back over ten centuries to slander the great Chola and Pandya kings, under whose enlightened rule the Tamil language flourished far beyond the geographical boundaries of present-day Tamil Nadu. Such remarks are deeply objectionable. This is an insult to the legacy and pride of the Cholas and Pandyas and Thiru Thirumavalavan’s statement only exposes profound historical ignorance. If he chooses to question whether the name Raja Raja Chola & Rajendra was Tamil, one may well ask whether names like Karunanidhi, Stalin, Udhayanidhi, Dayanidhi, Kalanidhi & others in the Gopalapuram family are Tamil names. If any political coterie has contributed little to the genuine growth and global stature of the Tamil language, it is the DMK and its alliance partners. DMK and its alliance partners must understand that the history of Tamil Nadu did not begin in 1949 when DMK was founded, rather many of the state’s problems began from that point onward.
