Public schools in poor areas are failing kids. Only 30% are reading at their grade level, and many come from broken families. With school choice, these kids have an opportunity to better their lives and expand their potential. The reality is we have to try something different than the same failed policies the Democrat-backed teachers’ unions have given poor families and students.

Idaho just passed legislation banning taxpayer money from funding teachers' unions. Florida passed legislation banning taxpayer-funded union time for political activities. Arizona's House approved a measure asking voters to ban the use of school resources to support unions. Parents, taxpayers, and teachers are waking up. The education system should serve students, NOT union politics!

Abolish teachers unions & use the $$ from shutting down the Dept of Education to fund school choice so kids aren’t held captive by the zip code that they’re born into. It’s ironic that those who complain about “systemic racism” the most are the ones most hellbent on holding poor kids back.
