Opposing DEI is 'stupidest thing ever': Failed former mainstream journalist Rachel Gilmore, a former Global News journalist who spread misinformation about the Freedom Convoy and briefly served as CTV's election fact checker, was called to testify on diversity, equity, inclusion and feminism during a Commons committee hearing. Sheila Gunn Reid and Lise Merle XX lambaste the decision to invite the “failed former mainstream journalist", to the status of women committee discussing anti-feminist topics. Rachel Gilmore, who worked for Global News during the pandemic, was relieved of her duties, and then very briefly served as CTV's election fact checker before, once again, being let go from the company. I must confess that until recently I had never heard of Phool Dei, a spring festival that was celebrated yesterday in the villages of Uttarakhand. Children gather fresh flowers from the hills and go from house to house placing them on doorsteps, offering a blessing for the household: “Phool Dei, Chhamma Dei, Deni Dwar, Bhar Bhakar…” roughly wishing the home prosperity. In return they receive sweets. It reminded me a little of Halloween in the U.S., where children go door to door saying “trick or treat.” But what a lovely contrast. Here the children arrive not threatening a prank, or asking first, but giving first. Flowers. In an age when we speak so much about environmental consciousness, this graceful celebration of spring and nature deserves to be far more widely known. Just as Holi travelled across India and the world, perhaps Phool Dei should too. For me, the children of Uttarakhand are my #MondayMotivation

South Carolina PCA pastor says the church must dig in harder on DEI even as the secular world abandons it, because "God demands it" and there is no "room for diverse opinions" on whether Christians must pursue it. JP Sibley of New City Fellowship Orangeburg preaches: "DEI stands for diversity, equity + inclusion. Diversity. Seems like a good thing. Equity, fairness. Seems like a good thing. Inclusion. Seems like a good thing. But today, many laws and practices that promote these things are being torn down. And we need to be honest that this has an effect on many of us. It has an effect on how we feel, our safety. Maybe we feel unwanted. Maybe we feel insecure about our job or our family or what we're going to do or where we're going to be. We live in an increasingly segregated world, brothers and sisters. And so it is more important now than ever that God's kingdom pursues diversity and equity and inclusion. Maybe the government shouldn't demand it. I don't wanna get into politics, but God demands it. The church of Christ should be diverse. The church of Christ should not be segregated. Amen? The church of Christ should not be segregated. And it's more important now than ever that we face these divisions. Many of them are political and deeply held beliefs, I know. And there's room for diverse opinions about how should we handle these things in our society. But what there's not room for is: should we seek diversity, should we seek equality [sic], should we seek inclusion. It’s clear that you simply cannot call the inclusion of diversity hire, Elliot Page “inconsequential” in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Page (female) plays a prominent male Greek warrior (Sinon), who is not in book, nor The Iliad, is a “proxy for Achilles in Hades” This is pure subversion. All of these reviewers saying, “Helen of Troy & Sinon are only on screen for a few minutes” are looking really dumb right now. They’re making it sound as if these DEI hires don’t matter to the plot, and claim the outrage is overblown. That’s false & gaslighting. 🎥: Nerdrotic Nooner ft. Chris Gore

HOLY SHIT!!! COUNCIL TAX EXPOSED!! A fren on my TG channel posted this in the chat. This is Sally on the phone to Stevenage Magistrates Court telling her that North Herts Council print their own “Court” summons. The court admits that the council use their own software to produce a court summons, it doesn’t come from the court. So every letter that they receive which looks like it’s from the magistrates court, is in fact directly from the local councils. No magistrate signs the court summons because it doesn’t come from them. She then goes on to say, that the council do all their own administration in producing these summons, the council rent a room off the court. BTW This is called a star chamber. SHE admits that these questions are coming up a lot when it comes to the legality of the court summons because it’s not been produced by the court. She also admits that the council are committing mass fraud by printing a magistrates court headed letter. She also admits it’s the same with liability orders. Again the court does not have anything to do with that. There you go, folks right from the horses mouth, admitting that court summons and liability orders do not come from a magistrates court. They come from the councils own software. SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE.
