PILOTS USE THEIR FEET TO FLY?!? Most surprising to many passengers is the fact that pilots use our feet in order to fly! It controls the rudder at the tail of the aircraft. Then the relief captain brought his two children into the cockpit. His 15-year-old son sat in the pilot’s seat. The boy pushed on the controls. The autopilot partially disconnected. No one noticed in time. The plane banked hard. Dropped into a near-vertical dive. Spun. Crashed into a mountain range. All 75 people on board died. A brand-new Airbus. Experienced pilots. Destroyed in minutes… because a child was allowed to “fly.” One of the most preventable disasters in aviation history. Should Pilots Trust Autopilots? ⚠️Disclaimer: Based on official investigation findings, cockpit voice recorder transcripts, and flight data from the 1994 Aeroflot Flight 593 accident.
