While my mom and I unknowingly aligned and begun digging through our own archives for our own reasons, she stumbled on this blast from the past. In 2010 we were filming moments with grandpa and about grandpa shortly after he moved to Florida to be with us.

The arrangements on the flight were very good. We were disappointed only at Delhi Airport. We had a few students from Maharashtra with us, and their representatives had come there. Hotels were booked for them and their tickets were booked for evening...But for us, SRTC buses in poor condition were parked outside...So, in emergency, we had to book our own tickets at 4 times the price because we booked tickets at just two hours before (the flight)...It feels good to be back with our family..."

While driving home from work I decided to stop in and see my mother at the assisted living facility. My siblings and I had recently had her moved there because of the Alzheimer's she has been dealing with over the past couple of years. Mom and I have sung together since I was very young, but I have never taken a video of us singing, only audio. I decided to take a couple of videos for future posterity and post them on my Facebook page for my friends who had been asking to hear me and mom sing. When we sing together I feel like the son again and for a few moments she is the mom I have always known and she comes back to me in that moment. I am a Hindu from England and it is a deeply traumatising experience for me to exist in Indian society. Every year the government bans my own festivals, bans our traditions. We are CONSTANTLY traumatised and gaslighted out of our ancestral birth identity. We are told to shut up about our own genocide, our own history. It is traumatising to just exist as an indigenous Hindu and see that our religious freedoms have been snatched in our own land. This needs to change and it changes when we wake up and realise we have to fight for our rights and independence. जय श्री राम

So we walked past the US Embassy with our press gear to cover the protest against the illegal kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. We were stopped by Kenyan soldiers who took photos of our IDs and also took a photo of my face. I asked why they were taking a picture of my face and he said, “For memory.” About 100 yards further down the road, we were stopped again. This time our IDs were photographed again and our names were written down, but by private security from G4S. I asked them what they planned to do with the pictures. They said they would hand them to the US Embassy. I asked, “Why, in a sovereign country on a public sidewalk, are you taking photos of our IDs and handing them to a foreign government?” He said he didn’t want to argue, then left us with a warning that the protest would be dangerous and that we should be careful, because security could not protect media freedoms today.

Other parties must also have their own drums We must then be allowed to count our own votes. We don't care what they do or who counts votes in other drums. Just allow us to country our own votes from our drum as MKP If things were going according to my wishes, I would be leading a march to protest for 2026 voting system. We must demand that a voting through drums become a norm Otherwise we will keep complaining about stolen votes
