Border czar Tom Homan said the "hostile rhetoric" against immigration agents "must stop" and suggested that people take their protests to Congress instead of against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. "If you want certain laws reformed, then take it up with Congress," Homan said. "Again, ICE isn't making this up. They're enforcing laws enacted by Congress and signed by the president." Homan spoke to reporters for the first time Thursday since President Donald Trump sent him to Minnesota following backlash over the second fatal shooting of a U.S. citizen by federal agents in the state this month. Homan said while he supports the right to protest, there will be "zero tolerance" for protesters who interfere with law enforcement officers. "You interfere, impede, assault ICE officers, you will be arrested," Homan said.
