Packed AMC parking lot. Empty charger. At $0.51/kWh plus a $50 authorization hold, it’s easy to see why. And honestly, a movie theater may be one of the worst places for a 50kW DC fast charger. Most people are parked for 2–3 hours watching a movie. A row of 48A Level 2 chargers could serve more EVs, cost less to install, and let drivers leave with a full battery by the end of the film. Would you use this charger, or would you rather see more Level 2 charging at movie theaters?

ALERT: Florida woman’s wheelchair explodes in her driveway after she charged it with an off-brand charger. Alexandra Anaya purchased the wheelchair from a thrift store in Hollywood, Florida, and was charging it with a non-manufacturer charger when a clicking noise woke her up. Anaya then searched online and realized the wheelchair was an imminent threat, so she brought it outside before the battery exploded. Hollywood Fire Rescue and Beach Safety are urging the public to use the correct charger, check batteries for excess heat while charging, and never leave batteries charging unattended.

SAPELE, DELTA: Yesterday, another Eiye cultist named Naira Marley (not the celebrity) was involved in a fight with a non-cultist around Shell Road, Sapele, Delta State. This fight started because of a phone charger. It was reported that the non-cultist (white top) lent his charger to the girlfriend of the Eiye member, Naira Marley (blue short). The situation escalated when the non-cultist asked Naira Marley to help him collect his charger from his girlfriend. It was also reported that Naira Marley had disliked the non-cultist even before the phone charger incident. Although some Eiye members were present during the altercation, they did not get involved - they allowed Naira Marley and the non-cultist to fight it out themselves.

DID ANYONE CATCH THIS, OR WAS IT JUST ME? — During the hearing this past Tuesday, in one of Judge Graff’s statements regarding Tyler Robinson’s plea — Judge Graff states that a “DODGE CHARGER” was seen on video surveillance cameras. — The problem with this is, there is ACTUALLY a “DODGE CHALLENGER” on the video surveillance footage, NOT A CHARGER. I’m not sure what to do with this. What do you guys think?

It’s a busy day at the charging station for the electric cars. There’s a decent line forming already and this gentleman just realized he was at a faulty charger. Right as he was ready to move to another charger, another customer decides to skip the line and immediately take a charger before anyone else who was already waiting could use it. The man confronts her and she claims she didn’t know there was a line though it was clearly visible. The man asks if he could use it before her since he was already there. She declines saying she got there before he did. Is it possible that maybe she didn’t see the line but after he informed her should she have let him use it first, or does he have to wait in line again because he already was at a charger and it’s not anyone else’s fault it wasn’t working properly?
