🚨Why are ARMED MASKED MEN roaming around an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL harassing CHILDREN as they walk to school? At Turman Elementary, in Colorado Springs, children told staff they were aggressively approached by masked men with weapons, who identified themselves as ICE agents. This is so fucking dystopian. Children are already... being traumatized by shooter drills… and now, they have to deal with armed, masked men, as they walk to school? ICE says someone fled a vehicle stop… But we don’t know whether that person was their intended target, what justified the stop, or whether the stop was even legal to begin with. Either way, elementary school children should not have to be exposed to this. ICE shouldn’t be roaming around their school, especially with guns, during their morning commute… approaching kids, and frightening families. Then it gets worse… because ICE claims the children were lying, and the children approached THEM, and accuses people speaking up of “creating a climate of fear.” You have masked men standing on trucks, with guns, outside an elementary school… and our government is acting like the children being scared are the problem? An Oakland County judge has put three children in a juvenile detention center because they refuse to have lunch with their father who they saw beating their mother. The judge told the children that the oldest one doesn’t seem to have a good enough IQ to know what’s really going on and further stated that the father is a great upstanding person. This has been a five-year battle during a contentious divorce proceeding. The judge has stated that the children can stay there with criminal children till they graduate high school . The children have all been detained separately by the way.. Now I don’t even care what’s been going on between the parents, whether the mother is right, the father is right, but to lock innocent children up because they fear their father and have seen him hit their mother is beyond anything that I can actually comprehend ..
