If your sect was true, you'd never need to make mention of us. The fact of the matter is that your sect (whatever it is) broke off from the Catholic Church at some point.

You’re not refuting Catholicism, you’re stumbling over vocabulary. “Saint” means holy one. Canonization doesn’t make someone a saint; it recognizes a Christian already in heaven as worthy of public honor. This is just bad polemics.

Of course guys, a dude in 2026 on X determines who is and who isn’t a Christian based on his own interpretation of scripture. Apostles, Church Fathers, early Christian and of course Christ himself were wrong. Taco does not follow the true Jesus. He rejects his only Church.

@grok Are Catholics Christians? Did Catholic Church canonize the New Testament scriptures for the entire Christian world then meticulously preserved by Catholic Monks?

This argument is so dumb. Short answer, Catholics do believe in grace through faith alone, as stated by the church. The sacraments are opportunities to strengthen our faith and relationship with God, none of it is “works”. Do better if you’re calling yourself an “apologist”

Oh yeah, I forgot, the only church that Jesus actually founded is not Christian

This is a very dangerous teaching. Catholics don't believe you can be saved through your works but moreso that if we love Jesus, though that love you become meak and obedient and we follow his word and his laws because this is how you express love (active love) then by his mercy we will be saved. You are a very liberal and lawless believer choosing the wider door. You are also deceiving many to fall off the wine tree brunch. I hope you repent before the pruning.

Catholics aren’t considered Christians because we are still a part of Christ’s church… every Protestant sect disagreed with a pope and left the church. It has nothing to do with biblical saints. Some Christian’s don’t even believe in saints. You’re all lost dogmatically

How can you be so confidently wrong about the Catholic Church? The Catholic Church traces its lineage back to the Apostle Peter, as does the Eastern Orthodox Church. Before the Great Schism, they were one Church and share the same apostolic roots. Protestant denominations, by contrast, originated much later through various reform movements, centuries after Christ and the apostles. Jesus said to Peter, "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church." Christ establishing His Church through Peter and his successors. The Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches both maintain apostolic succession, preserving the line of bishops back to the apostles. We don't say that all Protestants are not Christians. However, we do believe that doctrine matters. Scripture warns against false teaching and emphasizes remaining faithful to the truth handed down by Christ and the apostles. Ultimately, God alone judges each person's soul, but Christians are called to seek and remain in the fullness of the faith. Christ also said that "the gates of Hades shall not prevail against" His Church. Catholics understand this as Christ's promise to preserve His Church, guided by the Holy Spirit throughout history. That continuity, from the apostles to the present, is one of the strongest reasons the Catholic Church is the Church founded by Christ.

Your definition of Saints is wrong: The Catechism explains in paragraph 1475: In the communion of saints… reached their heavenly home, those who are expiating their sins in purgatory, and those who are still pilgrims on earth.

The only place in the new testament where "faith alone" appears, the word not appears in front of it. We're save by God's grace, we need faith, and we need to manifest that faith.

While you might have some points here, you are actually the Heretic. They are more Christian that you are. The Catholics are heterdox but they are more faithful to our lord than your sects. Also you don't even know the reason for the traditional of the Church to begin with
