Why did they stop making cartoons like this 😭
43 Kommentare

They tried to add logic and reality to the cartoons and ruined the fun part.

This is 100% true!!

Because they believe "violent" cartoons is what makes children violent, and not the adults constantly oppressing them with violent means 🙄

It has nothing to do with that reason. It’s because people themselves I suppose

Because they are perceived to be dangerous🤣

Lmao😂😂

Comedy is awesome👍

Someone's mom probably complained 🤣

About what? 😂

Too violent lol

Not sure but that was one show that was funny AF. Brilliant. Thx 4 the reminder..🙏🌹🙏

Totally agree with you Michael!

Thanks for the post❤️🙏

My thanks💌

Hang on a minute! 😳😬😅

The reason?😂😂

Yes that's me 😭

Because people started scrolling TikTok instead of watching cartoons

Makes sense now

A shift from 7-min shorts that took 3 weeks to make for theater release, to 20-min episodes that take 1 week to make for TV release. Led to limited animation, lower quality draftsmanship. Plus these were made for all audiences. Today's are either just for kids or just for adults.

Watching Wile E Coyote's classic misadventures hunting RoadRunner as a child instilled an appreciation for classical music! 🎶

@JohnnyFocal Probably a big lawsuit 😉

@spiralweaver This is what I want to watch when they put me in hospice.

Ziggy n sharko is still around.

idiots didn't listen to the "Don't try this at home" warning and here we are

Too expensive apparently. Also people so dumb nowadays they’d try this in real life

Classic, I watched this so much as a child, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry

because cartoons are now dedicated to alphabet agenda promotion, not entertainment

It's because the Coyote is suing ACME and they are currently in litigation.

This from the closing credits of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe marks the beginning of the end.

@spiralweaver No warning labels

Because lazy karen parents complained that it wasn’t educational so we ended up with sesame street and mr. rogers type slop

Slap-stick comedy probably breaches health and safety laws because some adults think it encourages violent behaviour. I think it teaches kids to laugh at the farcical nature of some schemes. Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo, and many others. I love them all.

A smart fellow with no driver's license stood up in a meeting and proposed that kids might go out and actually do this and it would be a danger on public roads. And other smart people with no driver's licenses agreed with him.

Poco se habla de lo buen dibujante que era el coyote.

Because cartoons no longer are made by cartoonists but shovelwear producing executives puppets

Straight answer: because the business model changed. These short films were created to be viewed at the cinema, right before the main feature. It was an appetizer of sorts. However, when TVs became mainstream in the 1960s, they slowly but surely fell out of fashion.

Evergreen. There was the one where he paints a tunnel against a cliff wall and a train comes out and flattens him.

Because imagination is no longer a component of creativity, and intention is no longer pure.

Too violent…

COYOTE VS ACME Official Trailer (2026) I would like to think that this will be a good tribute to these old cartoons. But, based on the current output of modern movies I will not be holding my breath!

Because the guys who came up with them got old and then died. Even the later Looney Toons in the 70s weren't as good anymore, after the original geniuses were gone. It was a unique, one time thing, like The Muppets or Monty Python.

Sometimes I watch Looney Tunes cartoons. They’re funny.
