The Lord of the Rings didn't use CGI to create Isengard (Orthanc Tower). Instead, it used massive physical bigature models! Because Wētā didn't just design it… they built it. Orthanc wasn't CGI it was a 15-foot tall “bigature” (a giant miniature) made of carved polystyrene, resin, and hand-painted layers to look like black volcanic stone. The detail was insane, every spike, panel, and window was sculpted by hand.

I'm betting that Thomas might be the only one that got a proper render (assuming they didn't use AI) cuz by anglematching the leaked CGI model onto the packaging, it matches almost perfectly, even the rod position. In the other CGI Promos his rods are in different positions

Because they use the neopixel sabers and don’t use as much cgi anymore. They thought it would help immerse the actor into the role if the saber actually lit up but ironically they just made sabers look clunkier and duller. The difference is crazy. ROTS duel vs OWK duel
