or what if: when you have your direct connection with the Divine straight, you do not need any religion or religious books in between you and the Crown of Creation.

Perhaps that wasn't Trump ? Bigger things are going on than any of us realise.

Or…..what if he will be true to his word and reclaim the republic. We will know in March. Traditionally (when we were a proper republic) they were sworn in at the proper New Year (March) I’m hoping this was procedure and March will be Bible swearing time. Just my take. I know it’s not a popular one.

Occams Razor. It was his Mothers Bible from Lewis Revivalist Church. Like the Plymouth Brethren they don't "Swear" on bibles, asking God to Witness, they expect to be taken at their word. Hands on Holy books is part of the problem.

The media won’t tell you, and woke liberals are clueless: Trump’s roaring comeback is driven by everyday Americans fed up with soaring bills, not obsessed about a dozen genders or the right to a transgender bathroom. #AbookThatChangesEverything #TrumpWon

Ding ding. We have a winner. I turned on the radio and heard NPR for the first time in about a 2 years, commenting on the inauguration today. Nearly every second of air time filled with falsities, misinformation and outright lies. I have low hopes for the large segment of society who listens and believes what is essentially constitutes the completely false reality I heard spewing out of the speakers

You're absolutely spot on Mark, Trump was already sworn in, we don't do that twice

You don’t have to touch the bible, you just need to swear by it

Placing your hand on a Bible whilst taking an oath is not required. That part is purely optics; beans for the natives.
