Why do people hate on the carnivore diet?

I don’t concern myself with people who talk negative about Carnivore and haven’t walked in my shoes with health issues that have been fixed by this lifestyle.

Well, half the population is nothing but batshit crazy.

Been seeing a lot of backlash towards the carnivore and lion diet community as of late. Mostly in fb groups and on here. And none of their responses make any sense. And when you talk sense to them, they disregard it as “fringe extremism”. And compare you to the Liver King or something similar. It’s wild!

It's a form of cognitive dissonance. People don't like to accept that they've been lied to their whole lives and will defend their world view no matter what. We've been seeing that a lot since 2020.

Haters: You're going to get cancer and a heart attack. Me: So to avoid that, I need to have insomnia, anxiety, brain fog, inflamed guts, a sunburn, and an extra 25lbs of belly fat?

Mostly because they’re brainwashed from the food pyramid

To be fair, you do dunk on vegtards pretty regularly. Some of the hate is likely projection from self loathing. Don’t stop. Also, meat hacks when traveling are always appreciated! Wifey made a carnivore bread that I will be packing when OTR.
