California is still counting votes, and Republicans are losing their minds. Weeks of counting happen in almost every election cycle in California. Conservatives in California vote early or on Election Day. Democrats vote by mail. And mail ballots come in late - taking extra time to count. On election night results lean right, then they shift left as the mail votes get tallied. If Democrats had “rigged” the California election, they would have engineered the easiest possible opponent for Karen Bass. Spencer Pratt would have been the dream. There’s more risk for Democrats in putting a young hotshot progressive on the ballot against our own incumbent mayor. If we had rigged it, Pratt would have been in the runoff. So calm down, folks.
