1/2 I miss Benjamin, I object too in the strongest possible terms that he is not still with us. Too many poets are taken early. John Burnside recently left the lyrical life also. I remember my partner saying Benjamin Zephaniah on the phone for you.

2/2 I invited Benjamin to our college. He packed the theatre - made a lasting impression on our students & staff. Real poetic magnetism. I gave him my C19th copy of Shelley; he later phoned me about the book. 1st saw him at SnapeFest. He put a big smile on my partner's face.
