Switch to Linux Zorin, the most 'windows-friendly' distro to migrate to Linux for FREE. It's way easier now. Boot up a quick Flash drive and play around. Then install it in an ext4 ssd. Compatibility problems can be solved with Proton,Wine and Bottles.

Linux gamers inhale industrial copium and call it freedom. If your “elite” OS still needs Proton, Wine, and ritual terminal commands just to run games built for Windows, that’s not gaming. That’s cope with extra steps.

You can play any game you want. Except those that want to control your computer. And honestly, who wants to play those?

I really hope Linux becomes that big and relevant that every big software company offers their products natively for Linux. Cause that alone is yet the barrier for it becoming an actual wide scale replacement for Windows. But I really hope it happens one day!

The real question is why would you swap to an OS that doesn't support the games everyone plays.

you can always put a virtual machine on windows and try out all the different linux distros to see which one you like best debian , mint and ubuntu are the easiest and work well with Steam @CachyOS getting great reviews lately from gamers ai can guide u through setup

I can always change my mind about staying on Windows 10 and taking back my word. Linux is not bad for some gaming but doesn't quite support Legacy software only made for Windows. Not to mention I still use older versions of Windows for retro computing I must admit that much.

i installed @bazzite_gg onto it's own ssd to dual boot with Windows 11. that was months ago and never, ever want to go back.

I spent too much time troubleshooting simple shit in Linux, fuck that.
