Opinions on this …. Did these two cyclists commit an offence by crossing the cycle lane without allowing the cyclist to pass on the cycle lane? They were in the road…. Should they have allowed the cyclist using the cycle to pass before turning ?

QUESTION. This morning I biked to work in the cycle lane. What is the other cyclist doing wrong?

Boston cyclist FURIOUS after truck parks in bike lane, so he blocks a car lane and tells drivers it’s closed. Asked why he’s closing the lane, he points at the truck signaling payback. Do you agree with the cyclist?

Getting a lot of people — not all of them anti-cyclist — asking “But WHY weren't you in the cycle lane?” No cyclist ever needs to justify legal use of the road, but for the record, this happened one minute before the sociopathic guy in the car behind me started losing his mind

Confusing cycle lane, path, tree, cycle lane, path, tree, cycle lane, path, tree, cycle lane, path, tree; not actually sure how it's all supposed to work. Easier just to stay on the road... 🤷

Contains 🤬. This Barna waste driver decides to put me in danger by driving extremely close in order to bully their way past while gesturing at me to move over. To preempt the 'why weren't you using the cycle lane' questions. Taking the lane is the safest option here.

MASSACHUSETTS — An entitled cyclist apparently decided the rules of the road could wait while he gave a driver a roadside lecture about the bike lane. Video shows the cyclist planted in front of the vehicle, blocking a turn lane through an entire green-light cycle as he continues arguing with the driver over an apparent bike-lane violation. The light? Green. The cars behind him? Going nowhere. The lecture? Apparently more important. Whatever the driver did to spark the confrontation, holding up an entire lane of traffic to personally administer a bike-lane seminar is certainly one way to win hearts and minds. Share the road, indeed.

Contains 🤬. Driver entitlement on full display here. Illegally enters the bus lane without bothering to check if it was clear. Then had the cheek to gesture that I should have been using the cycle lane.

HELP PLEASE! From my ride yesterday, this question really does need sorting urgently — can a driver turn left across a cycle lane on the basis that the approaching cyclist should be sensible enough to stop in time?

To all the urban planners out there, check out this intersection design with cycle lanes on the median of the road! Rather than trying to solve the problem of encroachment, people parking the car in cycle lane, pedestrians walking on the cycle lane, this design eliminates the problem all together! #MYBYK #MakingCitiesLiveableAgain #MovePeopleNotCars #ParkTheCar #SustainableMobility #PublicTransport #MicroMobility
