Why would Rockstar Games make such a beautiful area inaccessiblein Red Dead Redemption 2 map? What you're seeing here is an out of bounds area that you can't access unless you have mods installed

It looks like GTA 6 will not have realistic gore mechanics that are the same as Red Dead Redemption 2 RDR1 was released before GTA 5 and it had a very advanced level of gore at that time GTA 5 had little to no gore at all Red Dead Redemption 2 had the most realistic gore of all Rockstar Games Will GTA 6 have realistic gore like RDR Games or will it scrap it?

To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other hand has a completely different NPC interaction system where you have the option to greet, antagonize or rob NPCs. These options alone can give you the freedom to greet an NPC first, then immediately antagonize them to allow for different outcomes based on how you choose to interact with NPCs. This alone was a game changer and you can expect Grand Theft Auto VI to have an even more complex NPC interaction system compared to Red Dead Redemption 2, with more dialogue options and different outcomes. Its probably one of the reasons why GTA VI is taking much longer to develop, imagine how many lines of dialogue Rockstar Games had to record and make all of them work seamlessly by the time the game comes out.

If you’re wondering why GTA 6 is taking so long: Red Dead Redemption 2 has fully rendered 3D clouds that you can fly through, in a game that has no flying… You only see this ONCE in the main story, unless you use mods. Ridiculous amount of detail.

Fun fact from Red Dead Redemption 2 #5 There were supposed to be sharks in Guarma, but due to development time, this content was inherently cut from the game. However you can still find a shark outside the explorable area in Guarma. Sometimes I really wonder what Guarma would've looked like if it was fully explorable and Rockstar vision was fully realized.

What Rockstar Games did with GTA V in terms of optimization on a PS3 console is mindblowing! This level of traffic here is so dense that I struggle to make sense on how exactly they've made this possible on a console that has only 512MB total memory system, hell compare that to Windows 11 which averages to 5GB of RAM usage during idle and you can see how little resources Rockstar Games had working with here. If you remember, when Cyberpunk 2077 launched on PS4, Night City was practically a Ghost Town when you drove a car due to how much it would affect the framerate. Even most open-world games today don't add heavy traffic to save on resources, but GTA V is out here squeezing every last drop of my PS3 console just to add this number of vehicles for seemingly no reason all I can say is that Rockstar really knows how to push the limits of what a console can achieve and I can't wait to see what they're going to do with Grand Theft Auto 6.

Crimson Desert visuals remind me a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2 and gameplay similar to Skyrim. The map is going to be twice the size of Skyrim and larger than Red Dead Redemption 2, but obviously map size and number of quests doesn't matter if they're all copy-pasted and repetitive. I also wasn't shocked when I found out it runs on its own proprietary engine because the visuals look truly different and unique from what I'm used to after playing a ton of UE5 games that have a similar look, hopefully the use of its proprietary engine also means a good performance with a high resolution. So far from what I've seen, this game looks stunning and sometimes I feel like it is too good to be true, I can't wait to get my hands on it and see if it lives up to all of this. This could actually be one of GOTY contenders for 2026.
