Imagine having to take on something you’d think of as your worst nightmare. A parent that can no longer take care of themselves and now they depend on you for everything. This young man takes the time to give his father all the medications he needs, cleans his urine out and brushes his teeth. He even cleans the family house. One of the rules he implemented for his staff was to leave the office and be home for dinner and protect that time. But he also admits the difficulty he had following his own rule. He’d stay late, carry the day with him, and walk into his house still in coach mode. So he created a simple transition routine (e.g. a walk with his dogs) to decompress and detach from the job before he spent time with his family. Tiny Tim's first day on his home trial 🐶🥹 Ever since he lost his furbother Tom Thumb, Tiny Tim has been a shadow of his former self. Dawn, our Irlam centre manager who fostered the boys said it was almost like the last few months never happened as he struggled to come to terms with not having his furbrother beside him. So this video is for you Dawn. You set Tim up for living in a home and being able to move forward - without ever knowing that he may need to do this on his own. His inquisitiveness, confidence and receptivity to his new humans is all down to you. We know you will shed a few tears, but let them be a happy tears that this precious boy is coping so well in a matter of hours. Heartfelt thanks to his new family who welcomed him on trial with no expectations of him, just open hearts and two beautiful dogs who will make his world complete again. Good luck Tiny Tim. Then you redo your business plan, because now you’re going to be smarter. Then you start a catering business on the side. And you grow your catering business so big that you buy a food truck. And then when the food truck and catering makes you so stinking much money that you paid cash for all this without selling your home or quitting your job, three or four years from now you’ll have the money to open your first restaurant with cash. And then you’ll actually know what you’re doing.

We are heartbroken. You’ll remember young Rowan, who has been, for almost a year, growing his hair for Little Princess Trust and at the same time raising money for The NFRSA. The reason Rowan is doing the fundraiser is because his dad is a prison dog handler, and Murphy, his Dads prison dog (now retired), has been his best mate his whole life - and he knows first-hand how important our charity is. Well - tragically, this darling little boy is facing one of most difficult moments of his young life tomorrow, and the one every dog handler dreads. RPD Murphy has developed an aggressive tumour and despite everyone’s best efforts, he is no longer able to cope, or walk, and so his Dad and his wonderful retirement home Dad, James, who lives close to Rowan, have both realised it’s time to let him go with dignity. Rowan and his family went to visit Murphy yesterday to say goodbye, and they made this heartbreaking video. Rowan wanted you to know how much Murphy means to him - and how important his fundraiser is. It goes without saying we will support the family throughout, and we will do an NFRSA tribute to Murphy later - but tonight, this is entirely for Rowan and his family. Please would you think of Murphy tomorrow and send him a little prayer as he crosses gently over Rainbow Bridge, and if you could, send Rowan a donation for his fundraiser, because for an 8 year old boy, his efforts will mean even more to him now. Why wouldn’t a coach, young black person ask Cam Newton for advice on success? Shouldn’t you want to have information on how he excelled on the field in order to pass that along to your young players. Also, we should applaud his willingness to give his time, money & energy to our communities. Instead, we use his presence to test ourselves against his accomplishments, & legacy. Donovan Johnson was bright light in this world. As soon as he flashed his trademark smile, he left you no choice but to do the same. He was full of joy, jokes, love and loyalty. He was grateful for the opportunities in his life and proud when he made the most of them. He was a role model to my boys and he loved them whole heartedly. He was part of our family. He battled Leukemia with a brave and gracious heart and fought so hard to be here for his family, especially his son. I loved Donovan and I have peace knowing he knew that. I’m grateful for my purpose in this profession, to impact young people and make sure they know how deeply they are loved and believed in. Rest in peace, DonJohn. I will love you forever.

Donovan Johnson was bright light in this world. As soon as he flashed his trademark smile, he left you no choice but to do the same. He was full of joy, jokes, love and loyalty. He was grateful for the opportunities in his life and proud when he made the most of them. He was a role model to my boys and he loved them whole heartedly. He was part of our family. He battled Leukemia with a brave and gracious heart and fought so hard to be here for his family, especially his son. I loved Donovan and I have peace knowing he knew that. I’m grateful for my purpose in this profession, to impact young people and make sure they know how deeply they are loved and believed in. Rest in peace, DonJohn. I will love you forever.

Growing up a child in America doesn’t look so easy like we take it to be. First of all a child of his age, this is not the way to go. You can’t attack your grand parents/ family openly like that in media. I still repeat this, These Daniella kids need Mayanja family more than it may need them. Daniella should know that the world is so small to start detaching her kids off from their original family. Do you think other grand kids get happy in hearing you attack their parents and grand parents? The kids of the Pallaso, Weasle, Humphrey, Ak, etc. And those are the majority. You as Abba having an American citizenship doesn’t give you immunity to wanting their help in future. Lastly, Nayee Musajja. He will have his family. We pray he gets a woman like the mother .
