Windows is silently stealing your internet. Windows reserves 20% of your network bandwidth for system updates. You need to find 'QoS Packet Scheduler' and disable it immediately.

Here is an interesting invention. Flex screens are a new way to screen your windows. It would make it easier to clean your windows, that’s for sure. I bet these are pricey.

Just found out that it also applies for the regular Windows 11 IoT Enterprise edition (non-LTSC) when picked in the Windows Setup. It's pretty clear that IoT Enterprise is the SUPERIOR edition of Windows 11, no need to bypass any system requirements B.S. with any workarounds! 🎉

Some of you asked: What happens when you disable system-wide animations, transparency effects, and set File Explorer's default location to a folder or "This PC"? Result: It's way faster now with preloading enabled. However, it is still a bit slower than Windows 10.

Holy shit... someone built a free portable tool that activates Windows, kills the bloatware, and shuts down every telemetry service Microsoft buried in your OS. It's called GTweak. One .exe file. No install. No subscription. You download it, run it, and your Windows is finally yours. Every "Windows debloater" before this made you pick one trade-off. Activate but keep the spyware. Debloat but lose update control. Disable telemetry but break Defender toggles. GTweak does all of it inside a single portable executable. Here's what makes it different from every Windows tweaker that came before: → HWID + KMS activation built in, no sketchy batch scripts, no Massgrave links, no PowerShell one-liners pasted from a Reddit thread → Removes Cortana, Copilot, Recall, OneDrive, Edge, and every pre-installed UWP app on Windows 10 and 11 in one click → Disables keyloggers and telemetry across Windows and NVIDIA including the data collection tasks hiding in Task Scheduler that nobody talks about → Blocks Microsoft's shadow domains at the hosts file AND firewall level so the OS literally cannot phone home → Disables Defender, SmartScreen, Antimalware, VBS, and UAC with proper toggles instead of registry hacks that break on the next update → Pauses Windows Updates entirely and wipes the cached update files Microsoft refuses to let you delete → Kills Teredo, ISATAP, and IPv6 along with the diagnostic services running silently in the background → Activates the hidden Ultimate Performance power plan and fixes the Realtek audio delay bug nobody at Microsoft has patched in 5 years → Runs custom .ps1, .cmd, .bat, .reg scripts with TrustedInstaller privileges, the highest permission level Windows has → Built-in hardware monitor, NTFS compression, RAM cleaner, and secure Windows.old wipe Killed: $30 Windows 11 Pro keys, every "debloat script" repo with 47 forks and no maintenance, the $5/mo "PC optimizer" garbage running on YouTube ads. Works on every official Windows build since 10 (18362.116). One .NET Framework 4.8 dependency that's already on your machine. BSD 3-Clause License. 100% Opensource.

Just landed: /diff is now a persistent pane that you can scroll and click. It updates in real-time. For the times when you want to see the code without having to switch windows. Enjoy!

You can finally Sync your Arc between Mac and Windows machines! 💥 This means we are one step closer to Arc Everywhere… on all of your devices. Bringing sync to Windows was a *huge* effort by many people, but namely Andrzej Fiedukowicz and Darin Fisher

Microsoft teases a faster and configurable context menu (right-click menu) for Windows 11 after years of complaints! Marcus Ash, who leads Design and Research for Windows and Devices, says Microsoft is working on making context menus faster, simpler by default, and configurable to what you use most. That last part is huge. Windows 11’s context menu was supposed to fix the cluttered Windows 10 right-click menu. Instead, it became slower, padded, inconsistent, and still messy. You often need “Show more options” just to reach the old menu, which defeats the whole point of redesigning it. Now Microsoft is taking the same approach it used with Start and taskbar: give users control. Resizable Start. Movable taskbar. Smaller taskbar. Customizable Start sections. And now, configurable context menus. This is the Windows 11 reset users wanted 🥳

Watch: What happens to your CPU when Windows 11's Low Latency Profile feature is enabled. CPU usage automatically spikes briefly to speed up the launch of Windows 11's Start menu, Notifications Center, Control Center, right-click menu, and other OS-level features. The same CPU boost is coming soon to Windows apps, which will allow them to load faster and briefly spike your CPU usage.

Breakable Windows seem to use the same "Momentum storage" system as when picking up Rampart Walls. So you can throw yourself through them and even if your melee is a bit late the game will be generous and still keep your momentum going.

Microsoft is cooking! Windows 11’s faster app launches released today, and everything is noticeably faster on low-end PCs. Windows 11’s CPU boost feature is no longer just for Start, Search, and shell flyouts. After installing the August 2026 security update, it is now silently active while opening apps too. We tested this on the same PC before and after KB5121003, and the difference is real. Notepad, Calculator, Chrome, VLC, PowerPoint, Weather, and even the Epic Games Store now trigger the same Low Latency Profile behavior Microsoft first rolled out for the Windows shell in June. The moment you open an app, Windows briefly pushes the CPU close to its maximum frequency for one to three seconds, finishes the launch work faster, and then drops back to idle. This is called “race to sleep,” and it is not a lazy trick. macOS and Linux already do similar things. CPU utilization does not spike the same way, so this is not your PC suddenly working harder forever. It is a short frequency burst to make Windows feel more responsive. I know people love mocking Windows performance, and often for good reason, but this one actually works. Apps open faster now, especially on budget and older PCs where every second of delay is noticeable. Windows 11 is finally getting the kind of performance work it should have had from day one.

It you live in Los Angeles, shut your windows and turn off your vents to the outside — the air quality is hazardous. You can visualize air quality in the MyRadar Weather map. The bull’s eye of hazardous air is directly over the nation’s second-largest city.

It's happening! Here's your first look at a movable taskbar in Windows 11, coming soon. You'll be able to move and resize the taskbar on Windows 11, just like you did on Windows 10! It's still in internal testing, and to be clear, this video is from a virtual machine, which is why it might feel slow. Also, Microsoft won't use the right-click menu we're seeing in the video; it's only being used to quickly debug the feature. What else do you want Microsoft to improve in Windows 11? 👇
