With early mornings getting dark, people on bicycles are even more in danger from criminal drivers. That’s why I’m now using a horror effect to make them think twice before they create any additional danger for me.

Please note bicycle lights are not allowed to flash more than a certain amount of times per second so as not to trigger those with epilespy from suffering seizures

Jeremy can you head a campaign to encourage cyclists to be more visible It's fine having lights but I see a lot of people wearing dark clothing with a tiny light. Can be seen in lit up built up areas but not in suburbs and out of town.

I want all road users to be safe, lawful and preferably respectful. How does a tweet like yours help anyone?

One night last year, I drove through Oxford and counted 5 cyclists without lights. All the car drivers had lights. As a motorcyclists I wear a high visisablity jacket. None of the cyclists wore one.The lights are always lit on motorcycles, too.

I have seen plenty of riders in the early morning cycling on main roads with no lights or reflective clothing, they're the ones who are dangerous. But they'll be the first to complain if they get hit.

90% of cyclists I see, never have any lights fitted. Little wonder they get knocked over in the dark/ poor light. Used to be an offence to ride a bike without lights after Dark. ( P.s. I'm Not a "Criminal driver")

In the Netherlands flashing bicycle lights are outlawed. With good reason. Extensive research has shown these can be dangerous in urban settings. You may endanger yourself and other road users, Jeremy.

The self righteous aura emanating from you and your bike will ensure you are seen.
