Paris was never in my bucket list but with all the insane transit and cycling improvements they’re doing I have to go!!

its not an increase in existing residents cycling. its an influx of a leisure/gentrified class cycling around. fake data doesnt even pretend to attempt to control for the independent variable of gentrification.

How many people used to drive into central Paris? Those (like me!) cycling into central London switched from public transport, not cars, bc driving and parking there is incredibly expensive, and rightly so. Are we sure the same didn't happen in Paris?

This is #Oulu, a cycling city with more than 950km well maintained cycling paths. We have also more than 350km well maintained skiing paths and many of them are easily accessible by bike. Hence it’s only natural that people living in the city center goes skiing by bike🤗🚲🎿
