Talking Again in 2025 I started eating again in 2024. After 11 years not eating a crumb of food or even drinking a drop of water. I got all fluids and nutrition from tubes inserted into my body. For 11 years. In 2025 I have another big improvement to announce. I have started ‼️ TALKING ‼️ again after 12 years of not saying a word to anyone! What will 2026 bring❓ Talking has been truly AMAZING. A slow process, it started when I slowly started feeling like I could talk again, but my stress response was still very high about it and it was hard to breach that stress wall and say the first words to someone. I first talked to my best friend, who I am really close with, comfortable with and feel very safe with so my stress levels are lower with her. I practiced talking to her on calls and video calls for about 6 months before talking to anyone else. Then I moved on with a few more close friends. It was hardest with my parents and caregiver because of the incredibly high stress I have been through with them in the past during my sickest years - my stress response seems to still be high with them - sensing danger likely due to a PTSD response mixed with the messed up fight or flight response in ME/CFS. But I am now talking to everyone! It is sooo much easier with my caregiver to just tell her what I need instead of pantomiming every little thing for sometimes a long time until she figures it out. What a relief! And I can have conversations with friends and loved ones! I just said goodbye to a lifelong friend who is dying and I got to talk to her on the phone and tell her how much she means to me, the impact she has had on my life, how wonderful she is; And then say goodbye. It was profoundly sad, but it meant the world to me that I got to talk to her and say goodbye at all. She is not online and does not text, so it would have been so devastating not to have that last connection with her… Read, watch or listen to the whole post on my blog! ================= ================= #mecfs #chronicillness #pwME #LongCovid #Disability

#SEONGHWA talked about filming challenges with junior idols because he knows that feeling so well and wants to help them in any way he can 😭 ⭐️: these days things are going so well, so I feel good. A lot of people recognize and congratulate me a lot, and... I feel really thankful. I also, in my own way, try to find what I can do and do it. That’s my mindset. So I wondered what I could do, and I just filmed challenges diligently, contacted people here and there and filmed. Even when I felt tired I wanted to help somehow, so I worked hard (like that), I wonder if it helped? If it did even a little, then that’s enough for me. And now, usually… I also had times like that, when I really wanted to film a challenge with a senior I admired. I would do my hair and makeup on my day off, go to the broadcast station and even bring a gift. That one moment would stay as such a good memory for me, and the senior would say a lot of good things to me that it would become a good connection. I thought, “someday, if I can, I want to do that too.” I don’t know if I can help in a big way yet (with popularity), but if it’s something good for those juniors I’ll do everything I can. I know that feeling so well and it's such a precious one, so how could I refuse that? You just have to do it, ofc. And if I’m can remember it I want to do their challenges too, but I’m really slow at learning choreography, even memorizing our own songs takes me a long time. But still, I want to do it sincerely. If I get the chance, I want to practice more and do better, but after doing so many (challenges) I do hit a bit of a limit. So even when resting, I keep watching videos and trying to film better (challenges). Yes. Seniors and juniors both prepare really well, so how could I do it half‑heartedly? I need to help, even if it's just a little. #성화 #ATEEZ #에이티즈

Cody Rhodes was asked about John Cena saying how the match that you guys did at SummerSlam had to be different, had to deliver, because the WrestleMania match he felt didn’t. How did you put that match together at SummerSlam? “Well, I never was one to get mad or get in my feelings over WrestleMania 41 because it was part of a larger story. That is a hard sell, though, for a WrestleMania, especially when the year before you had the completion of over several decades of a journey, and at a 10-year Mania, you’re involving luminaries and legends. It’s a feeling that’s good, a good feeling, as Shawn Michaels will say, the good stuff. So when you go into 41 and you’re doing 1/4 of your story, and you know your story goes all the way to SummerSlam, I never was not committed, and I never doubted John. I hope he knows that, because I know he talks about this match, so I feel comfortable talking about it, but I never doubted, hey, well, this is what we’re doing now, and this is what we’re going to do, then this is what we’re going to do when we get to SummerSlam. You asked, though, how we put it together. I have a really great photo of how we put it together in the most old-school fashion ever. He wanted to have a cigar where he was staying in New York, and this was the night before. I figured I like cigars, it is one of my favorite things, maybe the most Cuban thing about me. I went there, and I realized after dinner and stuff, maybe an hour in, that we were talking about tomorrow. But we were just talking about it differently than you talk about it at the ringside area. We were talking about it, then we would talk about something else, and then we’d slip back into it, and it was the most I think I’ve ever focused in my mind. Because once we go past something, I don’t want to forget it. Remember that idea, I don’t want to forget it. So I ended up going to my hotel that night, and I had it all. I had everything, and I kept making sure. I think I was telling Brandi, and I was making sure I had it. I had what we had talked about. Because with an old school guy like him, you may actually go out there the next night without seeing each other, which is wild in 2025-26. But with John, that was a possibility. He could have just yelled his whole version of it, or I could have yelled my whole version. But that was a really special moment, because I got a lot of pictures from it, and I didn’t share any except maybe one of us signing at the tables. But I got to be with my friend at the end, and I got to not just be with my friend, but I got to have the responsibility that I think anyone in the business would want. I got the responsibility of being booed in Vegas. I got that responsibility of being the one who can survive. Hey, yeah, you may not be the hot thing right now, but if you’re going to be QB 1, you have to be able to survive, and I got to be able to be in there with the guy who survived more encounters than anybody in our business with split crowds, for him crowds and hostile crowds.” (Chris Van Vliet)
