Working on a py script that can automate drawing makeup in Tomodachi Life. Using two rp2040s & the 2wiCC library, it simulates a controller, reads an image and draws it. It’s got some timing issues to figure out, but it’s working. And won’t require any modding to the Switch.

Fun Fact: At some point in 2021, Epic Games were working on a ‘Singin’ in the rain’ #Fortnite emote, inspired by Gene Kelly & Stanley Donen’s film of the same name. However, seeing as it’s been 4 years since it got leaked, it’s safe to say that it had been scrapped 🤷‍♂️

It’s competing every available chance you can. And it’s building a base of conditioning on top of that that doesn’t take away from the speed you’re building. Put it all together and you have the recipe for your fastest summer ever

So two Brits do their best to relocate to Australia and set up a new life for themselves and due to a company closing + Visa issues they have to return to the UK People make out it’s easy to just up sticks and leave but I’m telling you from experience it’s really not unless you have a skill that’s in high demand or get married etc “Never in my life did I think I would post this. But here it is: I am leaving Australia. My chosen home. The place that shaped me. The place I thought I would grow old in. It still feels unreal. But sometimes life turns around and has different plans for us. What happened: my partner and I were on a sponsor visa and about to get our permanent residency in March 2026. A few months ago we got the news that his company was sold. At the same time, his occupation was removed from the visa list, which meant there was no real way for us to apply for another visa. There were other options to get PR, but after four years of working hard and spending a lot of money, we both didn’t feel ready to start another process. So we decided to take it as a sign and leave Australia. But the closer the day comes, the sadder I feel. To leave my home, my apartment, my people and the life I built here. For some it’s just a country, but for me it’s the life I created that I now have to say goodbye to. And honestly it’s breaking my heart 💔 #australia #permanentrresidency #movingabroad #expat #expatlife”

I didn’t have enough time to fully test Seedance 2.0 with cartoon styles, but I made an attempt here using an image generated in Midjourney, and the result is promising, though somewhat incomplete. I need to explore it more deeply, but I’m sure it’s possible to achieve some great animations with it.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues to suffer from the heaviest technical difficulties yet. I went on the attraction for the first time 2 months ago today, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life, yet these issues can’t be ignored. My 26th ride last night was the worst state I’ve ever seen it in, and it’s operating in an even worse state today, with the Audio-Animatronics figures freezing and resetting while Guests were riding. I love this attraction more than any other, yet I’m at the point now where I’m even having a hard time enjoying it when my favorite parts of it aren’t working correctly. This attraction, in my opinion, truly is a joyful celebration when everything is working correctly, yet that’s not reality right now. I’m sad to see it in this state and hope to see the issues addressed immediately so everyone can fully enjoy the beautiful experience that it is.
