i'm losing my mind over the quality, hard to believe this product just barely left beta, it's been my daily driver for weeks now. gonna be real, i clowned on copilot users hard in the early days, innovation was trash, but that cli just leveled up the whole company. mad respect!

Thx for the kind words Yigit, more updates coming soon! 🙂

amazing!

Love what @GitHub Copilot CLI is doing — but there's a painful irony: a CLI tool that can't run PowerShell commands on Windows. pwsh.exe is hardcoded, and every auto-update reverts any manual fix, breaking workflows daily. A CLI that doesn't work in the terminal on Windows is kind of against the whole point of being a CLI. Raised it here 👉 ( — would love to see this get some attention.

@github Thanks for raising, that def sounds frustrating, especially if it’s breaking workflows daily. I’m not super familiar with the Windows setup myself, but I’ll bring this back to the team and get visibility. Appreciate opening the issue and sharing the details 🙏

Let’s leave this one on experimental chief

Would love to hear more about what's driving that feeling!

Well this is maybe because I use the built in terminal on VSCode to run copilot cli so it ends up being noise.

Still issues with flickering and it’s logs crashing vscode.

Can I alpha test this?? 😂

Compatible with AGENTS.md?

i like diff view

This TabBar polish looks solid, especially the overflow handling because terminal width changes break many CLIs. It could help to log tab focus transitions so you can measure keyboard navigation success rates.

@burkeholland Honestly I just keep visual code open. If I want to browse I am not going to look at the CLI. Maybe if I am in a remote terminal? Who knows.. Maybe it will be such a kick ass experience I will use VC less.
