Working on pathfinding. It's based on the A* algorithm. For testing purposes I can mark a destination and the algorithm tries to find the best path. Progress is visualized by small cubes. The yellow cubes mark the current best path.

I did my Bachelor's Thesis about Pathfinding Algorithms, love em. Did you try/test jump point search? It's a lot more effective and doesnt search empty space like A* does, it's super fast too!

Nice seeing you work pal ;) one tip: You can increase your performance if you multiply your step length by 10. that way a* will prioritize shorter paths and the possible paths won’t spread out so much. Play around with it and you’ll see.
