Agents should know better. With Jira, they do. Today we’re launching governed agent loops to move the SDLC from one-off sessions to always-on execution: → Code Context for semantic codebase understanding → Agent loops to automate the path from backlog to PR → Standards to set guardrails every agent must follow → DX to measure the real impact on your ROI Stop managing sessions. Start scaling the loop.

🚨 THEY FINALLY DID IT. THEY PUT CLAUDE INTO JIRA. Atlassian Jira isn’t the shiny new thing. but that’s exactly why this matters. Millions of devs live in Jira every day because it’s the ultimate source of truth. The new Claude Agent integration turns Jira from the place where work is tracked into the place where work gets delegated. I tested it, and the workflow is SO simple: > you assign a Jira work item to Claude > Claude reads the full ticket context > it implements changes in a secure sandbox > it opens a draft PR for your team to review ✅ Voilà! Ticket assigned. Code written. PR opened. That means far less time managing tickets → more time shipping 💥

It’s now easier to move local agents to the cloud so they can keep working with your laptop closed. Prompt Cursor from your phone, run many agents in parallel, and get back PRs with demos of their work.

An agent running without context is just a token disposal service. Today, we're announcing the new system for AI-native software development in Jira. 🧵

Now ready for deployment: Cursor Delegate any Linear issue to Cursor, and a background agent will get to work. Once the task is complete, the Cursor agent will update the issue automatically with a PR.

Cursor can now attach demos and screenshots of its work to PRs it opens. Your team can review artifacts created by cloud agents directly in GitHub.

You can now delegate tasks to Cursor directly from Notion. It's built on the Cursor SDK, so every cloud agent runs on the same models, harness, and runtime that power Cursor. @Cursor on any spec or assign it a task to open a PR your whole team can review.

🧲 Meet Magnet — the AI workspace for agentic coding. Build software with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex & co. → Write a ticket → Magnet assembles context → Fires to Claude Code, Deep Research, and other agent sessions in parallel Git worktree sandboxes → PRs appear → Use agents to help you spec, research, and decompose tasks Let your agents cook!

Cursor x E2B Many of our customers use E2B in their internal development workflows. Some work in regulated industries where code and internal services can’t leave the company. For teams that need control over the execution environment, Cursor’s cloud agents can now use E2B as their machine. With Self-Hosted Machines, Cursor handles the agent loop while E2B runs the code. Teams can give agents bigger machines and start them from custom E2B templates, so their Cursor workloads boot straight into an environment with internal dependencies already in place. Try it:

94% OF ENGINEERING ORGS USE AI. ONLY 6% SCALE IT The missing link is context and governance. That’s exactly what Atlassian is going after with its new agentic engineering stack: Code Context + governed agent loops in Atlassian Jira + DX measurement. The idea is simple: make agents a native part of your engineering system instead of a side quest in a terminal. > Code Context grounds them in your architecture > Governed loops take work from backlog to pull request > DX measures the impact And the data backs up the context thesis: DX found context-rich AI teams shipped ~64% more per developer 👊 A pretty strong signal that context is becoming one of the biggest leverage points in agentic engineering.

CodeRabbit is now available as a plugin for Cursor! Ask Cursor Agent to review your changes, delegate review to the included CodeRabbit subagent, choose the diff scope, and work through findings without leaving your Agent workflow. Heres a quick overview!

GitLab Orbit, now in public beta, is the context graph for the entire software lifecycle. It continuously maps code, work items, pipelines, deployments, and production signals into a single live graph, so agents reason from first-party context instead of fragmented signals.

This one’s big. Atlassian just dropped something a lot of us have been waiting for. Rovo Dev is an AI coding assistant that finally fits how Atlassian teams actually work! 🔥 Think Claude Code, but with some unique twists: → Built-in integration with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence, and Atlassian Bitbucket → Persistent memory across sessions for ongoing collaboration → Enterprise-grade controls: permissions, audit logs, zero data retention by default (!!) It also supports model routing across OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models like Llama / Gemma... not something you'd get with Claude or Gemini CLI! 👇 But here’s the real kicker: Rovo uses Atlassian’s Teamwork Graph to surface data from your Jira issues, Confluence docs, and code repos. So when Rovo answers, it’s not guessing: it’s grounded in your actual projects, teams, and task history 🧠 It also speaks MCP, so you can hook in other tools and data sources to take it even further. During my tests, I had Rovo Dev build a full app from scratch. It managed the entire flow autonomously, with updates instantly reflected across Jira and Confluence. IMO for anyone using Atlassian tools a lot, Rovo's a no brainer. I don’t use Jira much these days, but after years deep in it, I really wish this had existed back then! :) Big thanks to Atlassian for the collab, I learned a ton in the process! More about Rovo Dev here →

A SpaceXAI engineer just released a free 30-min course on Grok Bot Agents: from your first persistent agent to multi-agent chains that research, ship software, and hand work off to Cursor 05:26 - what actually lives inside a Grok agent 08:49 - the 3 ways to run agents 12:04 - chaining multiple agents into one workflow 16:06 - turning X followers into structured research inside Notion 23:08 - handing coding work from Grok straight to Cursor Most people still treat Grok like a chat window. It answers, you copy, you move on. The shift happens when the agents stop waiting for you: one finds the information, one structures it in Notion, one turns it into working code, and they pass the work down the line on their own. Thirty minutes here beats assembling your setup one agent at a time.

Got early access to from Thomas Dohmke... Git rebuilt for AI agents If you use Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, the gap is clear, software is no longer just code and deploy, it is also context and knowledge Entire keeps it in the repo... sessions, prompts, decisions stored next to the code Connected a few repos already, sync is one step and basically instant

TikTok just forked VS Code?! ByteDance launched Trae - an AI code editor meant to compete with Cursor, Copilot and Windsurf. I gave it a shot and it's very close to Cursor - especially the Agent mode.

Glen is building the organizational learning and context layer for agents. Every agent session your team runs produces reasoning worth keeping, and nearly all of it is discarded the moment the window closes. Glen is the layer that unifies every agent and model your company run. Glen pulls in agent sessions from Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, plus Slack messages, GitHub prs, tickets, docs and calls. When a new agent picks up a task, Glen finds relevant prior context and injects it in the agents context window to steer it, producing knowledge work that is significantly higher quality, faster and cheaper than ever before. 29% less context and 21% faster to be exact. And Glen does more... > query the original agent behind any line of code > search every session your org has ever run > dynamic skill distillation > multiplayer agents > unified transcripts you can hand between Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor mid-task, > a company brain in Slack. Glen is in early access, sign up for the waitlist below.
