My Tinubu has done this to the good people of Arewa. Abuja–Kaduna Highway Nears Completion: 118km Concrete Section Hits 95% with Solar Lighting. The 118km reinforced concrete pavement section of the Abuja–Kaduna road project is now 95% completed and fully equipped with solar street lighting. Built to the same durable standard as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, this phase of the project is valued at ₦252 billion, with over 80% of the cost already covered under the leadership of President Tinubu. The section is scheduled for full completion by the first week of May 2026. Work is also progressing steadily on the remaining 164km stretch in Kaduna State, which is being constructed using the same reinforced concrete pavement standard. This phase is valued at ₦502 billion, with 70% of the funding already disbursed. The entire Abuja–Kaduna road project is on track for full completion by December 2026, and will feature comprehensive solar lighting throughout. This milestone reflects a strong commitment to delivering durable road infrastructure and improving connectivity across the region.

I opened my TV, landed on President William Ruto at Mukuru kwa Jenga, and within ten seconds my remote started sweating. The man was talking like Mukuru is a PowerPoint slide he designed last night. Roads everywhere, jobs raining from the sky, poverty trembling in fear. I looked at the screen, then at my wall, then back at the screen same electricity bill, same hustler face, different universe. He was promising dignity with the confidence of a man who’s never priced unga in Mukuru. Talking about transformation while the background screams “borrowed crowd, hired claps, prepaid cheers.” Even the microphone looked confused. I didn’t even switch channels. I switched off the TV completely. Not out of anger out of self-defense. My intelligence was under attack. My common sense was bleeding. At some point he said “we have listened.” I laughed so hard my TV stand shook. Listened to who? The echoes in State House? Mukuru kwa Jenga on TV looked like Dubai. Mukuru kwa Jenga in reality was probably watching the same speech on a neighbor’s TV powered by illegal electricity, wondering which part was science fiction. I switched off the TV and enjoyed the silence. At least silence doesn’t lie.

I went through a list of games he was credited for, not just by name (his name power alone sold later games he had little active involvement with). It's an incredible list of some of the best games of the 80s and 90s, but Pirates! was the first to include "Sid Meier" in its title as an effort by MicroProse to attract fans of his earlier games. It's an open-world, open-ended game, quite novel for its time. You choose loyalty to one of four nations (Kingdom of England, Dutch Republic, French Colonial Empire, or Spanish Empire) - changeable throughout the game, or go full rogue as a pirate! You battle other ships, duel captains mano a mano, invade towns, hunt treasure, and trade. My fondest memory: a gigantic map my brother and I drew, pinning roughly 20 A4 (letter) papers for a detailed coastline overview. I am one of the service members who refused the COVID shot. Like many others, the Biden military bureaucracy used pressure tactics on me that were egregious, coercive, and unworthy of the United States military. For example, during my interview for a religious exemption, the Chaplain conducting the interview told me that his superiors instructed him to ask questions designed to trick me into saying things that would make it easier for them to deny my religious exemption request. He refused those instructions and instead helped me build the strongest possible case. The Air Force denied my exemption anyway—just as it did with so many others. As abhorrent as my experience was, there were countless more serving on active duty who had this pressure put on them every day. Many were removed from service, lost their livelihoods, or received career-ending reprimands simply for declining the shot. Others, recognizing the process as the charade that it was, obtained vaccination cards without actually taking the vaccine. They lived under constant fear—senior leaders repeatedly warned that discovery could mean a felony and time at Fort Leavenworth—creating an atmosphere of intimidation designed to force compliance or confessions. While senior leaders who enacted this witch hunt bear their own guilt and responsibility, much still traces back to Fauci, who was happy to perpetrate lies that ruined service members lives, all so he could get his 15 minutes of fame and be treated as a celebrity by some of the worst actors in politics and media. When I am in Congress, I will do everything in my power to determine whether his autopen "pardon" can be challenged and to pursue the justice he has so far avoided. Thank you Bernie Moreno for taking this man to task and standing up for those who were targeted by his regime.

A glimpse into the life of a Canadian soldier – Captain (Retd.) Thady Holmes – and how the Inner Engineering program transformed his life from a state of trauma to one filled with purpose. "I started my career as a Canadian paratrooper at the age of 17. Between the period of 2009 to 2017, I don't have many memories to relish. All that I can remember are the gloomy days when I lost my mother after returning from war, losing my son, and also a close friend to suicide. I had lost hope to live and was having suicidal thoughts. I remember trying to pull the trigger by putting a pistol into my mouth, but thankfully, it didn't work properly, hence didn't fire. In 2017, dancing was the only thing that I enjoyed. It would ward off my worry and anxiety. Even after retiring from the military, having a successful career in finance and a happy family of three, emotionally, I was still down and this led to fluctuating weight and health. Luckily, I discovered Sadhguru through YouTube in 2019 and his videos motivated me to get initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra. I intensified my practice and as days passed, my experience became so profound that I could experience something inexplicable, which sparked my interest to learn Sanskrit. I was moved when Sadhguru spoke about the Cauvery farmers ending their lives, and I started working with people who needed special emotional care. Today was a special day for me. As many of you know I’ve had the job as a surveyor during ship building for my new company lately👷🏻‍♂️ I’ve been dying to show you this beauty, but taking pictures inside the production hall doesn’t give the right impression. But today, the first of the 3 ships were launched, and we could finally reveal to the world this Aero Design ship from Brødrene Aa in 🇳🇴 The ship is named Tyra (meaning the God of Battle) from Norse Mythology. She is 46m/151ft long and is designed to operate at a cruise speed of 33-35 knots, powered by a diesel electric hybrid system using the Shiftr battery changing robot when docked. And like a stroke of magic 🪄, it’s painted in SpaceX colors🚀, and equipped with Starlink 📡 More to come when testing begins 👨🏻‍✈️🫡 Elon Musk Nat 𝕏 🦾⚡💪🌌👽🚀

The US Navy wanted a way to conduct covert intelligence gathering on the ocean floor, & the perfect platform was the first nuclear powered guided missile submarine, USS Halibut (SSGN-587). Designed to launch Regulus cruise missiles, Halibut was left without a mission when the Polaris missile program made Regulus obsolete. In the mid-1960s, Halibut received extensive modifications at Mare Island Naval Shipyard & was repurposed. She was outfitted with saturation diving equipment pioneered by the SeaLab program, side thrusters to allow hovering, & advanced deep-towed search systems. Halibut proved the value of seabed espionage by executing missions such as locating sunken Soviet boat K-129 during Operation Sand Dollar & tapping a Soviet underwater communications cable in the Sea of Okhotsk during Operation Ivy Bells. The US Navy later followed by converting attack boats to carry specialized equipment, lockout chambers, & remotely operated vehicles to tap cables, & gather intelligence. Today, this legacy continues under Submarine Development Squadron 5 out of Bangor. Project Boats: ★ USS Halibut (SSN-587): The pioneer of the project boats. NASA Wallops Island update — June 18, 2026. Pegasus media event recap. Yesterday we attended NASA's media event for the Pegasus XL launch carrying Katalyst Space's LINK servicing spacecraft, which will attempt to rendezvous with the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory and boost it back to a stable orbit using LINK's three robotic arms. We recorded about 33 minutes of the briefing on GoPro, covering the first 15 minutes of speaker intros and mission overview plus part of the Q&A. Rookie mistake: I left it recording in 5K60, and it overheated, cutting things short. Lesson learned. NASA's event was not video livestreamed, but they ran a live audio stream, available here: After the briefing, media were bused out to see Pegasus mounted under Stargazer, Northrop Grumman's L-1011 carrier aircraft. As we got off the bus, the Air Force Thunderbirds happened to be taking off from an adjacent runway. Great bonus moment. Swift's orbit has been decaying faster than expected due to increased solar activity. If LINK succeeds, it will be the first time a commercial robotic mission has captured an uncrewed NASA spacecraft never designed to be serviced in space. Great day at Wallops. Lord Jesus, It’s the day after Christmas, & I can’t ignore the weight still hanging in the air. While some smiled yesterday, I know many hearts were heavy, distracted by pain, pressure, & loss. Lord, too many people felt the season slip right past them, buried under stress, grief, & the silent battles no one else could see. Some sat at a table with an empty chair, missing a voice, a laugh, & a presence that once filled the room. Jesus, give them comfort by reminding them that those they miss are not gone, but they’re home, standing in Your glory, wrapped in eternal peace. Let sorrow bow to hope, & let grief be softened by the promise of heaven. Lord, others are carrying financial fears with bills stacking, & anxiety pressing down. I pray You remind them today that fear is the opposite of faith, & faith in You never returns empty. Use me, Lord. Let my walk speak to them. Let my life prove what happens when fear is surrendered, & trust is placed fully in You. Thank You, Jesus, for the blessings You’ve poured into my life. Forgive me for my shortcomings, my failures, my moments of weakness. Cleanse my heart & straighten my path. Guide my steps today, Lord. Show me which doors are from You & which doors are traps. Point out who needs a hand, a word, a reminder that they’re not alone. Let me be a blessing & not a distraction. Let Your light shine through me so others see You. I am Your vessel. I am Your obedient servant. Cover me with Your protection. I rebuke the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. Break every chain meant to bind me, every curse meant to weaken me, & every lie meant to confuse me. Give me the right words, Lord. Shape me into a better man than I was yesterday. Stronger in faith. Sharper in discernment. Deeper in love. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen & Amen.
