Idk about these specific ones, but a normal model airplane engine runs on a blend of methanol, nitromethane + oil, not diesel.

just want to point out that there is nothing 'insane' about 4 'tenths, nor is there anything unreasonable about a small motor running at high speed. these motors are well made and serve a niche market on the far end of a spectrum.

Will run badly on “watered down diesel” if you can get the glow plug hot enough. That micro is pretty cool. Would love to build a tiny warbird for one but would fly way too fast to see and control it. Probably better for tiny control line

It's so sad that the R/C airplane hobby is almost dead. These engines are perfect for them.
