Bricks and Minifigs: This story is extremely disturbing showcasing not only the corruption within the Utah police department but as well as the unlawful activity going on within Multi million dollar corporations. Bricks and Minifigs allegedly stole $200,000 worth of Star Wars LEGO sets from an innocent family. The family then called upon their last hope, “RecklessBen” on YouTube. Ben promised to do everything he could to help, including serving the owners, taking them to court, getting them to admit their wrongdoings, and much more. He actually won a case in small claims court, but Bricks and Minifigs still refused to return the LEGO sets or pay RecklessBen the money awarded through the lawsuit. Instead, they decided to shut down the entire LEGO store to avoid Ben at all costs, claiming he was harassing them and spreading false information. However, Ben had evidence prepared and available, which ultimately contributed to his victory in court and in the media. Ben then decided to publicly host a closing ceremony for Bricks and Minifigs which gained significant attention. The media caught on, and Bricks and Minifigs responded by disabling comments across their platforms. They also reportedly sent an email to employees throughout the country explaining how to respond to questions regarding the controversy and alleged corruption. That email was later leaked by an insider employee. Furthermore, Ben decided to file another lawsuit. Before doing so, however, he was required to attempt to settle the matter outside of court. Bricks and Minifigs - from BAD to WORSE! This is the body cam footage of the Utah police talking to the former franchisee about the Bricks and Minifigs (BAM) Reckless Ben situation. The man puts the CEO of BAM, Ammon McNeff, on the phone. McNeff says a number of interesting things: 1) He ADMITS that the family is owed the money, but denies that he or the new franchisee owe it. I reserve the right to be mistaken, but my understanding of franchise law is that although the franchisor is typically NOT liable for the debts of the franchisee, there are circumstances under which they can be - e.g. if they exercise sufficient control over the franchisee, such that the franchisee can be considered an “agent” under the law. Given the degree of involvement the CEO is displaying with the new franchisee (the guy holding the phone), that argument might be made here. 2) He ADMITS the money is owed, but claims that Ben (Reckless Ben) has no interest in it. This too is not necessarily true if the owner of the LEGOs assigned his claim to Ben. But set that possibility aside… 3) McNeff says that Ben and the others threatened to kill someone, attempted to commit extortion, and other serious crimes. Again, under reserve of the right to be wrong, while it’s not illegal to lie per se to an officer in Utah, my understanding is that it is illegal to make false statements with the intention of getting officers to conduct official acts (i.e. press charges). With the accusations he is making - that Ben threatened to kill someone! - McNeff might be getting close to that line. 4) McNeff ADMITS the money is owed, but claims the former franchisee broke all sorts of rules in contracting with the LEGO owner, which is why the franchisor terminated their agreement. Depending on the knowledge of the misconduct of the franchisee, that might be another argument for the potential liability of corporate - if they knowingly let the franchisee break rules to the detriment / fraud of customers. All that to say, the more McNeff talks, the more damage he causes to the brand and goodwill of BAM - even if Reckless Ben did cross certain lines.

Buhl, Idaho resident and former deputy Eli Johnson was pulled over by officers for allegedly traveling 41 mph in a 25 mph zone. Johnson pulled directly into his own driveway. Officers instructed him to step outside to receive the traffic ticket, warning that failing to do so constituted obstruction and delaying an officer. Johnson agreed to being issued the citation but said he was staying in the safety of his home. Showing an understanding of his rights, Johnson refused to step outside and requested to speak his attorney and wait for witnesses because he does not trust the chief. When Johnson attempted to close his front door, the chief physically blocked the threshold with his foot to prevent it from shutting. Officers then forcefully opened the door, entered without a warrant into the entryway, deployed a Taser on Johnson, and pulled him outside onto his lawn to place him under arrest. While Johnson was initially charged with multiple offenses following the incident, all criminal charges against him were later dismissed. Johnson subsequently filed a federal civil rights lawsuit (Johnson et al. v. City of Buhl et al.) alleging that officers violated his Fourth Amendment rights through warrantless entry, unreasonable search and seizure, and excessive force. During summary judgment proceedings, U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge Raymond E. Here is a feel good story for your Saturday.. Young kid needs money for something that he wants to buy so he goes around in his neighborhood asking people if he could do yardwork for them. He finds someone who says sure, some raking and mow the lawn. As he’s working a nosy neighbor calls the police probably a Karen.. a cop shows up and asks him what he’s doing, and he explains to the officer that he’s working to save up for something that he wants to buy.The cop presses it asking “what are you trying to buy”? The young kid tells him a PS5 . So the cop says OK have at it .. Two days later the cop shows up at his house, and he says come to the car with me. He opens the back trunk and there is a PS 5 that he had bought with his own money to give to the kid.. he respected this kid’s work ethic and wanted to reward him.

NEW: New York City driver intentionally plows her car into an NYPD officer, telling authorities she wanted to teach him a "lesson." This is what happens when you convince people that cops are the enemy. Terrible. Sahara Dula, who is a criminal justice graduate, was driving the wrong way when a police officer confronted her. NEW: Two women arrested after a police officer suffered a brutal head injury while trying to stop one of the women from fleeing the scene. The police officer was sent to the hospital for a head injury and remains in serious condition. 28-year-old Jamaysha Butler could be seen trying to flee the scene when the Beaumont, Texas officer tried stopping her. Police were initially called to the location due to an early morning disturbance involving a group of people. The officer fell off the side of the car and banged his head on the pavement. This dad called 911 because his seven year old autistic son wasn’t behaving and was having a tantrum. The officer that spoke with him told the father that it was completely inappropriate to call the police over this. He said they have an entire town to protect and three officers responded and then asks the dad while chuckling - “can’t handle a seven year old?” The dad tells him that he has called 911 twice before but no one has ever got mad at him like this officer. The officer tells him that they are approaching charging him with false summoning a police officer. He also tells him that if he can’t handle a seven year then maybe they should get CYS involved because clearly the dad needs parenting classes. 😳 Many said the officer was rude and didn’t have to be. That his job is to protect and SERVE the community and that the family was just reaching out, that he needed support and someone to to talk to because they have no idea how hard it is to raise an autistic child? But others said this is not a job for a police officer, that they aren’t counselors and therapists and that there are many resources available through the city that he should using. 💯 I am team police officer. While covering a Pro-IRANIAN REGIME demonstration in Philadelphia (no one had an Iranian flag, unsurprisingly), a protester defending the Islamic Regime of Iran decided to spit on Frank Scales while others tried to impede his movement. A Philadelphia Police Civil Affairs officer was right there to witness the entire thing, but instead of pursuing the assailant, the cop decided to argue with Frank. The cop told him to “go over there” where he wouldn’t be able to document the protest. He complied with the officer and later approached him to see if he found who spit on him. The officer claimed he was not over there to witness it. An outright lie. He went on to argue that if Frank wasn’t in the middle of the protest he wouldn’t have gotten spit on. What he failed to mention was that he was actually not in the middle of the protest. He was 10 feet away from the demonstration trying to move away from people following him when he got spit on.
