Yeah navigation data is still a bit rough lol

<groan> This issue has been outstanding for years and is especially annoying as Google solved it decades ago. Could you run Google navigation side by side with FSD in the hope of shaming them into fixing this?

Calling navigation still a bit rough is the most polite way to put it.

Navigation will never get better until they go with a more premium data provider, which will probably never happen. Tesla basically pulled a Delta and went with a subpar provider. It is what it is…and will continue to be for some time still.

I have had stupid moves on exits and turns that I have never had before. It's all nav.

Well that sucks. Was hoping for some progress with navigation after an update. Hopefully They figure these small things out before we get the V15

Fsd sees all the empty lanes to pass and uses the right. How is it still so bad at reading which lane it should be in. Id rather they remove the gimmick features like A.S.S and figure out which lane it should be in. My car will Leave the Hov lane to try get into gridlock daily

Rough nav still beats a blank map, but yeah it needs a cleanup pass.

I’m not sure if my issues are navigation / map issues or other FSD issue. It can never turn left the correct way at certain intersections where I live. Imagine a T-intersection with a triangle shaped island. The left turns are crossing traffic twice, so there’s a dance with other cars. You pause, scoot up and pause again, then go. But FSD treats it like a roundabout. Tries to go around the long way, on the far side of the island rather than the correct closer turn. It works when no one is there, but when cars are present, you’ll screw up the flow.

Funny how the driving got so smooth that the nav quirks are what stand out now.

Nav data catching up to the driving would be a nice upgrade

That’s more than nav.. I hate when it does this . It doesn’t really have the intelligence yet to calculate passing when there is a truck or similar speed vehicle .

fsd does this a lot to me. camp at the exiting lane until it ends...

Woah. You get 3 different speed limits. Might as well make it 4 and have one for FSD. 😁

How about speed limits? I think they should stop sending out halloween, christmas, tron, etc, updates until they have the basics working properly. Especially max speed control!!!

Mine does this too on this one exit and route every time. It’s very annoying!

The recent builds have really made it significantly worse for my area. Mapping the wrong way on one way streets, entering the exit lane of parking lots etc. Also every single road now from my house to downtown has at least one speed limit error. I have one road that can show four different speed limits🤯 It’s really seems like someone is randomly adding wrong data to the system. I’ve tested other manufactures systems in the past and they suffered from these errors also. Need to revisit them to see what the current status is for them with these new errors.

This isn’t a nav data issue alone, it’s an FSD issue. If it can’t read sign ahead of itself and plan then that’s an FSD issue
