Tier 3 cities could be a mouthwatering opportunity for Indian e commerce SMEs and startups. The real opportunity isn’t just untapped demand, but the scope for hyper localization across language, culture, traditions, consumer preferences, assortment and even customer acquisition. Large players can scale nationally, but smaller, locally embedded businesses can often serve these fragmented markets with far greater customization.

@_saah1l @ShiprocketIndia I’d underwrite the enablement layer. 34% growth with narrowing losses is constructive, but allocator patience needs free cash flow conversion and margin durability.

@_saah1l @ShiprocketIndia @ShiprocketIndia , your platform is being misused by fraudulent sellers to ship articles on CoD basis to individuals who have not placed the order. Hitherto, when contacted not to ship such orders, you have expressed your helplessness & advised us to refuse. Remove such sellers

Most brands treat fulfillment as the back-end of commerce. Customers experience it as the front-end of their next decision. What happens inside our network, how fast a package ships, how reliably it arrives, how cleanly a return gets processed… It determines CAC payback, repeat purchase rate, and whether LTV ever justifies the cost of acquisition. Delivery is a growth lever most brands have never had the tools to pull. We've spent a decade building the physical infrastructure, the vertically integrated software, and the AI layer that powers fulfillment for over 1,000 brands. That foundation lets us see something most fulfillment partners can't. The brands winning on lifetime value, conversion, and repeat purchase are the ones connecting their physical execution directly to their commerce experience, not treating them as separate functions managed by separate vendors. Engage, Unbox, and the broader Commerce software suite are how we operationalize that belief. One platform, from the moment a customer decides to buy to the moment the product is in their hands. Fulfillment has always been the front-end of commerce. This is the logical extension of everything we've built. The more Stord operates at the layer connecting physical execution to commerce outcomes, the less we are a fulfillment partner and the more we are the infrastructure powering the growth of every independent brand. Every order is a front-end growth signal most brands have never had access to. The most durable position in commerce is owning what happens between the order and the door, not the storefront or the checkout. Stord owns that layer, and we're extending it forward for brands of all sizes.

This is the first time ever that I have seen a landlord offer a service like this in South Africa. Inospace is now offering outsourced warehousing services for e-commerce businesses. There is huge demand for services such as this, especially with so many new e-commerce businesses entering the market due to the boom in online shopping post covid. In other words, if you run an online store from home and you have no idea how to facilitate your growth - Inospace is now offering to store, pack and ship your customer orders on your behalf. The property sector is slow to adopting new tech and most South African landlords are incredibly traditionalist which is why they are set in their old-school ways of work. Inospace manages over half a million square meters of industrial space around South Africa. They offer short-term lease agreements as well as accept rental payments via Yoco machine on site. You can tap with your credit card to pay your rent each month. They are certainly one of the more future forward landlords. The ever-innovative Inospace is now changing the game when it comes to property management. They are introducing a completely new service which in the eye of the consumer is a genius no-brainer, however as a Landlord, it could potentially cannabilise existing business. This is an innovative risk that could pay off big time in the long run. Personally, I think its brilliant. I know of so many e-commerce SMME’s who are desperate for a service like this and have no idea where to start. What do you think of this new service offering and is there a demand for it?
