K-Dot graduated from CHS in 2005, while Dre was enrolled in the school as a freshman. The new campus is reportedly expected to cost around $270 million and open in 2029. Vision IAS Delhi Students Deserve Clarity. No student should have to prepare for UPSC with fear, confusion and uncertainty. Also, No institute should have to go through such a phase. Students have paid their fees, trusted the institute and planned their preparation around its classes, teachers, test series and study material. They are not asking for too much. They only want to know what is happening and what will happen next. This is not the time for silence. The Director, the management and the senior faculty should come together on one stage and speak directly to the students. They should clearly explain whether classes will continue, which faculty members will remain, how pending courses will be completed and what support will be given to enrolled students. Even if there are problems, students can understand them. What they cannot handle is being left without answers. At this point, assurance matters. A clear and honest interaction can reduce rumours, rebuild confidence and help students focus again on their preparation. Students are already carrying the pressure of one of the toughest examinations in the country. They should not be made to carry the burden of institutional uncertainty as well. They are not asking for promises. They are asking for clarity, continuity and responsibility. I am sure Vision IAS will resolve this.

Baricho Boys in Kirinyaga County were reporting to school today. As a routine the school checks what they bring with them to school. Just to be sure drugs and other contraband items do not find their way in. Today it was different. They found sniffer dogs waiting for them, and uniformed officers. It was really scary but I'm sure no student will ever attempt anything prohibited.

🚨HAPPENING NOW: Leftwing agitators are swarming the University of Memphis ahead of tonight's campus event with Kyle Rittenhouse, chanting "Lock his a** up" and later "F*** his a** up." The school has gone to incredible lengths to hamstring this event, including: 1 - Forcing us to change our ticketing system the day of the event. The university's excuse is they want to ensure "fair and equitable" ticketing. This means the hundreds of students who thought they had tickets will not get in. This has never happened at one of our events. 2 - Protester groups were somehow tipped off about the school's new ticketing system and the timing of when they'd be made available, allowing them to reserve large numbers of tickets to stage a walk out. We know this because our students are also in those group chats and alerted us. This also has never happened before. 3 - We had thousands of people register for tickets to this event, but the school would only give us a venue with 330 seat. No overflow. No larger venue. 4 - Our chapter president has been doxxed with his number and address published on social media. The campus police and school administrator shrugged their shoulders. 5 - The administration has said they cannot step in or ask protesters to leave if they attempt to disrupt the event or shout down Kyle. 6 - The school has allowed into the event the student that doxxed our chapter president, knowing this person was responsible for the doxxing. 7 - The protestors have entered the event and are taping the names of the people involved in Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense. The school is not stopping them. This is what happens when school administrators pander to petulant children. You get chaos. Our brave students will press forward but this is unacceptable, especially in a Tennessee. Let me get this straight: Meghan markle told Tom Sykes that she had gone to Soho House in Birmingham to relax. She claims she feels too insecure to drive the kids to school but feels okay to leave them alone in a foreign country without security? Relax from what? The kids are supposedly starting school this week, she will have the whole day for herself. 99% of mothers try spending as much time with their kids before they start school. Not meghan though she needs to take time away from the kids risking their safety?

Ekpoma is bleeding. Kidnappers have taken over Edo state. They now go from house to house, kidnapping families; students most especially. I have read the gory stories of the events of yesterday, & I'm very much terrified. Reports say that lives were lost in Ekpoma. Shot by the police & the army, scores were injured as well. They shot at civilians & arrested students in their hostels. Everyone should their voice to this cause, because media reports have been nothing but underwhelming. We mustn’t abandon the people of Ekpoma because the protests had EndSARS theme; Nigerian authorities are yet to learn any lesson. Many were outside; people got obviously tired of waiting to be k!lled, so they took to the streets. Now students are leaving. Freshmen want to write JAMB again, they will do anything (just to leave the school environment). School surrounding is not safe, Ekpoma itself is not! Kidnappers demand as high as N100 million from students as ransom, & kill them when they fail to raise it. Where do you want Edo students to get that large amount of money from? Children from Ekpoma protested against the insecurity in their state. And in keeping with tradition, the police opened fire as usual. Many were arrested for having the temerity to protest for their dear lives. Another kidnapping happened in a home in Ekpoma in broad daylight, around 6 O’Clock yesterday. OAU transport system was near perfect, adequate buses and bikes, we rarely experienced queues until the First Lady came and decided she didn’t like the ease of transportation and introduced “change” by donating CNG buses. The school management in turn banned all motorcycles and commercial buses on campus and subjected over 30,000 students to just about 50 buses and a few tricycles. OAU has one of the largest land masses of any Nigerian university, yet students are now stranded daily. This is a Monday morning where students are supposed to rush for class, but they are stuck at the campus gate because of the inefficiency of the CNG buses. Students are struggling to go to class in the morning and in the evenings to even get back to their hostels. Students staying off campus now spend almost double to get to campus, all alternative transport means have been removed The management have cars to bypass all of this, but majority of students do not. Yet they released statements talking about how the buses will “ease transportation” and even implied students appreciate the system. Meanwhile, students are trekking, missing classes, and spending hours in queues. Let it be clear that students do not appreciate this system. It has made our lives harder, not better. What used to be a smooth system has now become a daily struggle. There are many pressing issues in this school, but they chose to dismantle a working transport system and replace it with hardship. We can no longer remain silent. Let the whole world know what OAU students are going through. Minors are being recruited by the PSL, the ‘Party for Socialism and Liberation.’ One of their leaders, “they/them” led hundreds of underage students away from their schools to protest ICE in February. This is child recruitment for a Maoist-like revolution in a deep red state. Adults who are Marxists had access to the students’ phones, emails, class schedules, and their social media. Then the whole world can see the situation for what it is and judge how those in authority respond to peaceful demonstrations. A united people speaking with one voice can send a powerful message. Today, in my capacity as the President of NANS, I led all the structures of NANS, including sister unions, NAUS, NAPS, NANCES and NFSAN to the Community High school, Ahoro-Esiele, and Yawato community in Orire Local Government area of Oyo state, where we visited the scenes where our students and teachers were abducted. Going forward, we met with the King, some of the families of the victims, and parents in the communities of Ahoro-Esiele and Yawato communities. Furthermore, we assured them of our solidarity and support for them in this time of trouble and grief. Subsequently, we assured them that we are constantly calling on the government to ensure the immediate rescue and safe return of the abducted students and teachers. Conclusively, I assured all Nigerian Students that as far as I remain their President, I will continue to protect their interest. Professor Doolla must be realising how hard life is for GC students 🚨 - He wrote an email in 2024 - He stated that students should not ask each other's caste, as this can cause discrimination - Teachers should not ask students about their ranks, as this can reveal their caste - Students should make friends based on their hobbies and not on their caste - These rules apply in college as well as in WhatsApp groups - IIT is proud of reservation policy This is what OBC doolla sir wrote to the faculty. He is even proud of the reservation policy. Now it's the general caste only who's fighting for his rights. He must have realised how hard life can be for general category and their students when people misuse laws against them 🙏

The ATG School One-Pager I’m not trying to reinvent schooling. There are just a handful of things I believe in which I haven’t seen in any school I’ve been around as a student or parent. Policy #1: Each student gets to be responsible for growing some of their own food, no matter how small, and THROUGHOUT schooling (not just a quickie project here or there). Policy #2: Minimum 1:1 ratio of time NOT SITTING IN THE CLASSROOM. What you do with this is up to you. There are so many real world skills, sports, gardening, music, etc. The strict ratio in the school day is the key for me. Common sense and personal interests can take it from there. Policy #3: Daily time to read whatever you want to read about. The biggest barrier for my reading was INTEREST. Be there to ensure the book is at their level, and to help them if they don’t understand something. Other than that, LET THEM ENJOY READING, ALL THE WAY THROUGH SCHOOL, not just in early years. Policy #4: (This is the most unusual yet the biggest reason I’m in education.) High school is a 50/50 bridge to winning in real life. Mornings are for actual work, making and SAVING UP MONEY. Afternoons are for learning finances and professional skills of YOUR INTEREST. With average work, you’ll finish school with $50,000-$100,000 in the bank, more skills than the norm, and a greater chance of creating your life and work from there on out, rather than conforming to make a paycheck. Policy #5: As part of the high school 50/50 system, ensure each student learns the adult financial red tape in your state/country before you’ve got bills, kids, etc.

This valedictorian at Cardington-Lincoln High School in Ohio said a good part of his graduation speech was removed before the graduation ceremony and that he was interrupted after not staying on script during the ceremony. You can see the principal walk up and shove him away from the podium. 😳 The school district said it followed proper procedures for graduation speeches and tried to create a positive experience for all the graduates. The Class of 2026 valedictorian, Brandon Hughes, said the message he wanted to deliver was aimed at students who may not always feel seen or felt excluded. “My message originally was never intended to be about the school. It was never intended to be any personal insult,” Hughes said. “My heart when I wrote that speech was truly about the kids who feel less seen.” Hughes said school officials required him to remove portions of the speech he submitted for approval. Brandon said his grad speech was meant to give encouragement to his classmates and to let them know that their futures are not defined by their high school experience. Also, when he opened his graduation envelope there was no diploma inside. He received it after the ceremony. His mother said she could see the look in Brandon’s eyes when he realized there was no diploma and it broke her heart. I think it is commendable that Brandon wanted to let the students who may not have had a positive high school experience know that their high school years are just a blip on the radar screen and to not let it define them. 👏 Good for you Brandon! I don’t see anything wrong with the message you intended to give. And I think it would have given someone who didn’t have a great experience in high school some hope. 💯 Do you think the school was justified in cutting him off and pushing him aside from the podium since they were following their protocol? Or, do you think that he should have been able to give his full speech since he earned it with his hard work in becoming the Class valedictorian?

The key message here today according to organizers is “Hands Off Our Kids,” and the purpose according to the about section on their website is to let the government and school system know they are not okay with. sexually explicit content and gender ideology in the classroom or schools These protests have been planned for weeks and are occurring across the country today. Moreover, some parents have chosen to withdraw their children from school for the day as an additional form of protest. I will be providing coverage through out the day as the protest unfolds.

This just shows how out of touch this government are. I am a parent of children going to college for the past 5 years and with college fees and accommodation in excess of €12,000 per child per year unless you can afford this, you have to take out a loan or your child has to commute.. While Ukrainian students get everything handed to them, with no means test, Irish parents and students are treated like second class citizens in our own country, our government are a total failure.
