i helped satisfy one of my coaching client's wives last month there's this one windows setting that's secretly holding back thousands of league players it's called enhance pointer precision sounds good right? sounds like it makes your cursor more accurate it does the opposite it adds mouse acceleration. your cursor moves different distances based on how fast you move your hand move slow: cursor barely moves move fast: cursor flies across the screen so your muscle memory is fucked. your brain can never build consistent patterns. you're trying to learn micro but your cursor is literally different every single time you move it it's like trying to learn piano but every key is in a different spot each day this client was silver 4. adc main. mechanics looked drunk. cursor flying everywhere. overshooting targets. kiting looked like a seizure told him to turn it off instantly his cursor is 1 to 1. hand moves an inch, cursor moves an inch. every time. consistent. predictable. smooth his hands and fingers finally learned what consistency feels like two weeks later he's gold 3. mechanics cleaner. skillshots landing. kiting smoother then i get a message "bro my wife told me to thank you" i said "for helping you climb?" he said "nah bro. the mouse precision thing. helped with more than league" took me a second. i don't just coach league i help wives finish Study the Saskio way

if you use Codex and you're stuck on GPT models only, this fixes that. it's called codex-router, open source. drops other models straight into your normal Codex picker, right next to the GPT ones you already have. what it adds: - Grok, Kimi, Deepseek, Claude, all in the same picker - oauth login per provider, no api key needed - your GPT models and Chatgpt login stay untouched setup: point Codex at the repo, let it read the readme, it installs itself one snag: if you've got the Chatgpt app and a separate Codex on your path, you can end up running two different Codex versions, and the older one can choke on newer config it doesn't recognize. if the install looks off after, that's probably why, reinstall clean.

OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!

Codex can run Qwen-3.8-max now as well!! Alibaba most capable model, dropped today and it's already in my codex picker. It's a token plan subscription, not metered api billing. You take the key from your Qwen plan, drop it into Codex Router, and it spends down the plan instead of your card. There's a catch though. Qwen's official setup switches your whole codex over to them, so your ChatGPT models stop showing up at all. That's exactly what Codex Router is for. It adds models to the list instead of replacing them, so sol, Grok, kimi, Deepseek and now Qwen 3.8 max all sit in the same picker and it can grab whichever one suits the job. Okay this is kinda wild 👀 NVIDIA is basically handing out FREE API keys to 100+ top AI models - GLM 5.2, DeepSeek V4, Kimi K2.6, MiniMax M3, their own Nemotron and a ton more. it's called NVIDIA NIM and I had no idea it existed. it's rate-limited, so not something you'd run in production - but for personal use it's honestly great. you can poke a dozen frontier models, and some you can even grab and self-host. dropped a key into OpenCode and it just worked. the hyped ones like GLM 5.2 are jammed with queue right now, but the lighter models fly. all of it free.

✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in more

One thing I think AI developers underestimate: Your model isn't always your biggest risk. Your infrastructure is. A lot of AI apps work great in development… Until the provider you're relying on has an outage, rate limits your requests, or a model suddenly becomes unavailable.
