Around 5pm today, HSI and Park Police were conducting an arrest in downtown DC. Residents gathered around them to record, and when one tried to ask the guy being arrested what he was being accused of, a Park Police officer shoved him back and told him to stay 8 feet away.

A delivery guy was arrested by police for trafficking cocaine without knowing it. It was just another day at work. He received a call from a Nigerian lady at Dagoretti Corner. She wanted him to deliver food in a hotpot. The lady instructed him to take it to Kileleshwa estate in Nairobi. The guy did as instructed. When he arrived, he called the Nigerian man. While waiting, detectives suddenly appeared, opened the delivery bag, and to his shock, found cocaine wrapped in a small polythene pouch hidden inside the food. He was immediately arrested. As the officers were taking him away, he pleaded with them, insisting he was just an innocent delivery guy. He offered to help them catch the person who was supposed to receive the package. The police agreed. Some officers moved ahead while others stayed behind, watching him from a safe distance. He called the Nigerian man again. When the man came down from the apartment and was in the middle of paying him, he was arrested in a swift swoop. The delivery guy was released since he was innocent and had cooperated with the police.

She was at court obtaining an arrest warrant for him over property destruction and instructed her friend to keep him out while she was gone. Officers told her she could not deny him access despite the situation. So who was right, the mom or the authorities? She was right and won a $200,000 lawsuit over the incident. I usually back the blue, but here they got it wrong.

Things escalated into an assault on the officer. The son was taken to the hospital to be evaluated. While there, he decided to add one more act of stupidity by spitting directly at a paramedic. He was released before any formal charges were filed. But two days later, the cops caught up to him while he was snoozing in his car. Will somebody please just give him a soda?

It was a normal day for this Uber driver. He’s been picking up and dropping off people all day. Everything was going fine for him until he picks up this woman. Off the bat he says she seemed a little weird and spaced out. He was talking to a friend on a hands free headset when she stated that she felt unsafe with him in the car. So he pulls over and she calls customer service. She lies to customer service about not being able to go elsewhere because there is no business’s she can wait at for another Uber. She insists that customer service calls the police as well. She’s also refusing to leave his car because of a package in his trunk and claims she is afraid he might drive off with it. In a situation like this what do you do when she’s refusing to leave the car, do you just call the police yourself so they can remove her for you?
