Newman is not offering a campaign slogan. He is naming the load-bearing wall. The West did not become free because it was clever. Plenty of civilizations were clever. It became free because it inherited a book that would not let a man be used. That book says every person bears the image of God—not the useful person, not the approved person, the person. A king is under that law. A priest is under that law. A mob is under that law. When that sentence is believed, you get conscience, limited government, the jury, the hospital, the child who is not a sacrifice, the enemy who is still a neighbor. When that sentence is abandoned, you get the older world back: the person as a rate, the body as a tool, the state as a church that does not forgive. No other book does this work all the way down. You can find fragments of honor in Athens and fragments of order in Rome and fragments of family in a hundred codes. You will not find the Cross. You will not find the command to love the enemy while he is still an enemy. You will not find a God who becomes the victim instead of demanding one. First Corinthians 13 is not wedding poetry. It is the operating system: patience that does not keep a ledger, truth that does not decorate itself, a love that does not fail when the other side is unlovable. That is not “values.” That is a Person. The Gospels are that love walking. The Epistles are that love taught to a church that kept trying to become a gang. The prophets are that love prosecuting the powerful for crushing the poor. Take Christ out, and you still have rules. You have no reason the weak may not be eaten. That is why it cannot be duplicated. A secular program can copy the hospitals and empty them of mercy. A political religion can copy the discipline and fill it with conquest. A managed society can copy the prosperity and spend it on a smaller, more obedient herd. None of those can produce a free moral people, because none of them will die for a stranger or tell a ruler he is not God. Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world. That single line is why the West could build a world in the world without baptizing the throne. Lose that line and the throne becomes the kingdom. Then you get speech boards, bodies as policy, children as a schedule, and a peace that is only the quiet of people who have stopped being persons. Politics will not reverse that. Newman is right. Faith, family, and what you teach the child are the only soil that grows the thing we are watching die. The Bible is not one option on a shelf of therapies. It is the only complete picture of a love that actually keeps the human human. Every substitute eventually uses someone. This book will not. That is what made the West great. That is what happens when it walks away.

That’s the problem we are facing in the US. The second we pushed God out, the downfall began. I’m not sure we can reverse it at this point. 😢

I'm not religious. I believe in God, Source, but not a man sitting on a throne giving commandments. Some of the Bible has truth, many lies, and much manipulated text or hidden truths. Jesus(Yeshua) came to teach us not to worship him, but he taught that God is within us all, and we are all tiny fractals of God, source. There is no chosen people; we are all sons and daughters of God. Souls have a human experience to learn, grow, and experience life in physical form. The body dies, but our soul/spirit never dies; it's infinite. Jesus(Yeshua) taught being a morally good person means loving and forgiving one another. To show kindness and help each other when we can. He said, " We shall be known by our works". Globalists who control humanity are demonic; however, they can only control us by fear, and if we give our power away to them, that's our universal free will. We are so powerful that much of humanity doesn't realize this.
